She has been doing well, and she is getting used to my company and whatnot too. Everytime I go outside now and go to the gate, she greets me and follows wherever I walk. I tend to sit down on a cushion inside the main section of her enclosure that I've now claimed to be my spot haha. Earlier today I went straight to my spot and she came from outside her cage to greet me, before laying down about a foot away from me, and from her body language I assumed she was relaxed.
She doesn't run from me when I pet her either, but I still wait until she comes to me first.
I also bought her a small hut which she is about the size of but she likes tossing it around
I do have a question regarding cats and rabbits, tho. I did some research online regarding rabbits and cats and read that they can make good companions for each other, and was wondering if anyone here has experience with it? I have a cat and he is also an outdoor cat. He doesnt care about froppy (btw frop is almost a year old) and I assume the cat is over the age of 10 (he is a street cat, but isnt feral, hes actually the friendliest cat I've ever met, and he gets along with the bearded dragon and the chickens) my sister wanted to attempt to bond the rabbit and the cat, but I wasnt entirely sure about the process and if I should to begin with. And my mom said we should just get another rabbit, but my dad is iffy on another pet)
My cat, Buddy, and my new lion head, Gemini, are the best of friends! Buddy is almost 10 years old and has always done great with all of my small animals that I've owned throughout the years. But when I got Gem, he just loved her! He lays in her pen with her (he can jump into it, it's only 1 foot high cuz she's 6 lol) and she comes out to greet Buddy whenever he goes in there.
I definitely think cats and rabbits are good companions if you are 100% certain they are safe and happy with each other. However, I do not think rabbits should only have a cat as their companion. Rabbits must have another rabbit to be completely happy. Just because humans get along great with dogs doesn't mean we could live without humans forever.. Its the same with bunnies. They may like cats but they can't communicate with each other like they can their own species. I would explain this to your dad, that's what I had to do, my dad also says "no more animals" all the time lol. Besides, if you have one rabbit, its really not a big difference at all if you get another. Hope this helps some! Merry Christmas to everyone and all of your bunnies!
Also, its Romeos birthday on Christmas day! He will be turning 5 years old! I can't believe I've had him that long! C:
Oh! I also had someone draw Romeo Echo and Gemini for me (cuz I suck at drawing online lol) the are in my signature if anyone was curious what they looked like XD
