Mirabelle made her way over to Ophelia, smiling softly to herself. What did I say? Natural leader. Pride warmed her heart to see her cabinmate - not just that, her friend - taking charge so readily. Nodding in agreement, she made her way over to stand by Ophelia. Her weapons were certainly close-range, though the pepper spray disguised as lipstick could cover quite a distance. She noticed Alex chatting with Jamie, and gave both of them a friendly smile and a little wave as she contemplated her team's abilities. Having the Zeus cabin was always a huge bonus; with their control over weather and electricity, they made formidable warriors. Though she hated to admit it, the Ares cabin was also an asset... sure, they were hot-headed and hard to work with, but they were almost unmatched when it came to prowess in battle... as well as impulsive behaviour. That could be an issue, she mentally remarked. Having both Ares and Athena on the team would be invaluable, however. Speaking of Athena... Mirabelle hadn't seen their head counselor at all that evening. Perhaps he's still recovering from his icy excursion, she mused. She'd heard about Aiden and a new camper - Tielo -'s tumble into the frigid lake waters. Her cabinmates loved to gossip, after all, and her ears were pretty much always open. I hope he's okay. Her thoughts were interrupted by a sudden gust of cold wind, making her shiver ever so slightly. She furrowed her brow in concern as she glanced up at the sky. Did it just get darker and cloudier, or is that my imagination?

"Yeah, splitting into groups sounds great, ice man," Juliet agreed with a smirk. The thought crossed her mind that it was rather odd that a demigod with that particular set of abilities had arrived recently, given all the craziness with the weather. She simply shrugged it off, however. This kid looks like he's afraid of his own powers, she reckoned, snorting aloud as she amused herself. There's no way he could be the cause of all this. Setting her thoughts back on Capture the Flag, she looked around at the group. A bunch of them were acting like she was in charge. Her gut squirmed with the thought of all of that responsibility, but it was fair to assume, she reckoned. She did talk a lot, after all. "I guess defence should go hang out over by dog boy?" Juliet tilted her head over in Hank's direction, shooting him a smirk. Her heart softened when she saw Izzy clad in her doggy armour; however. Man, dogs sure are cute. A particularly nasty gust of cold wind blew her hair into her face, causing her to sputter as she got some of the long dirty brown strands in her mouth. Geez, almost forgot. Juliet layed the piece of battered armour she'd been carrying on the ground as she slipped a hairtie from her wrist to her hand. She swiftly tied her hair into a low ponytail, trailing down the back of her neck. Much better. Now, she didn't have to worry about it getting in the way.

"Oh no, it's worse than we thought!" Chuck exclaimed when Niji started talking in some language he didn't understand. "He's speaking gibberish!" It was the only feasible explanation in Chuck's mind. He'd never heard Arabic before, or anything even close to it. The only language he'd had actual experience listening to - discounting ancient Greek, of course - was French; his good friend Mirabelle had a tendency to slip into it when she was especially out-of-it. On one of their first quests, she'd been hit pretty hard in the head by some crazy club-wielding monster and had been speaking 'Franglais' for hours - or as Chuck called it, Frenglish.
Something seemed to click in Aiden's mind, but Chuck was still as confused as ever. The satyr glanced between the pink-haired person and the Athena cabin counselor, at a loss for what to do.
