I think it's because the cs mods have been locking some art recently which basically makes it so all you can see on a drawing is that big red lock

Some of the comments being left on this thread are not okay, and they have been removed. You are welcome to have your own opinions, but we are not going to tolerate derogatory comments made toward CS staff; they are human beings and they deserve to be treated with respect. If you wouldn't say something to another CS user, you should not say it about CS staff, as a group or as individuals.

The Oekaki rules have not changed; we have an art board where you can share content created in other art programs. If you did not use the Oekaki program to create something, it does not need to be posted in the Oekaki board or be advertised here. Creating a cover, detailed or not, does not change the fact that you are advertising another piece of artwork. If you feel that your artwork has been unfairly locked, you are welcome to submit a help ticket to discuss the issue with CS staff. If your artwork has been locked and you would like a copy of the original artwork, you are also welcome to report the artwork or submit a help ticket and we can recover the artwork for you.

Would you mind putting a tldr on the first post if you're willing/allowed? It may help stop all the posts being "why are we drawing locks" and stop any hateful or misinformed explanations (I know some people are frustrated and are explaining in a way that is just rude about staff) :> (Oh, and ima use this as my mark-)
