Beestar had accidentally dropped his bundle as he heard something alarming. As he gained scent, Fox! He shrunk back fearfully. Though, it was actually just a stale scent that was about to face. How careless of him! But what had made that cracking sound? He carefully headed towards it, prey forgotten for the moment. A shrew!
He smelled it before he saw it. It seemed to be running from something, and he saw what. An angered blue-jay. He chuckled. The shrew literally ran right into his paws and he easily killed it, little stalking needed. With the body swinging in his jaws, he headed back to his dropped load. Thankfully, none had vanished.
He gathered up his items, now enough to feed him for awhile! His tail flicked in excitement. He recognized a Yarrow plant near camp, and harvested a few leaves. He kept it between the carcasses as he entered camp.

He dropped the Yarrow onto the other three herbs, satisfied that he had a good stock. He turned to drop the prey he now had onto the mouse and vole, making the prey pile a mouse, vole, a shrew, a small fish, and scraps of a rodent.
He picked up the mouse and quickly ate it, though was full by the end. He was joyful now as he twisted onto his back.

He was ready to move again after a small doze. He jumped up and bounded a completely unexplored territory, and sniffed the air for signs of prey, and herbs. Though he wouldn't be surprised if a rogue came this way!

Steadily growing hungrier again, he flicked his tail. He had no real luck finding anything..but, he found a half-eaten pigeon. He ate the rest of it, and looked up. He could see a glimmer of eyes in the rocks above him, though they were gone immediantly. Probably just had imagined it, or had that rogue from a few days ago come here?

He shrugged and continued, hopefully looking for more prey and herbs.
Whether he had anything or not, an hour later, he returned to the rocks. He felt something..off. He leaped up and scented the air, though something could have reached it, or not.

(Previously!) He crouched down at the mouse scent, mouth-watering. He slowly started forward, breath caught in his throat like a snag. He leaped, his paws crushing its skull. He grabbed it and thoughtfully stepped back towards the rocks. His muzzle was stung when a plant seemed to leap at him. He growled in shock and dropped his mouse before inspecting the plant. Stinging Nettle! He was pretty sure it helped swelling and could make a cat vomit if eaten! His tail flicked pridefully as he collected the plant, holding it sparingly.

He finally dropped his bundle and looked back at the rocks.

(Now!)

He was sure now it was a cat. He hung back out of reach, though called out a non-hostile greeting. He was ready for an attack, but wanted to put it off if he could. "Listen, I don't want to fight, and I don't think you want to either. Now, can you come out so we can speak? I'd like to get to know you. If you're not interested, please feel free to escort yourself away. I don't want to cause blood-shed today."
