What would it be like to grow up under the sea? How would that world be similar to our own?

Luxthorn: Well, given the fact that I was really close to literally grow up under the sea, I've been thinking about it from time to time.
Firstly, there are some things I can say for sure: if I was to live underwater I would have been the opposite of who am I today. No anger, no thirst for revenge, no need to live as an outcast.
And Taygona would have been there. I wouldn't have suffered thinking that my mother died. She would have just been there everytime I need her, every time I fail she would have gotten me up, every time I cry she would have wiped my tears. She would have been there, smiling, as moms use to do when they're proud of their children.
If that world would be similar to ours? I don't think so. There's no need to fight for your life there. If the land is ruled by the war, the waters are eternally peaceful. And deep there, even my father is harmless to anyone.
If I lived underwater I could have hold Thamilla's hand and look into her eyes without being afraid I could hurt her. Without being afraid that one day she will see me as a monster, like the others did.
Maybe if I grew up under the sea I would have been happier. But who knows for sure?
