yes timer is accurate and yes i did this all in one sitting
i wasn't planning for this to be as big as it turned out so some things are wonky...... live with it LOL

so this is a plan of the 6 circles of hell for my oc world! starting from the bottom:

layer 6
the outside layer: dry, dead trees. dry dirt. dark sludgy water running at the speed of molasses. stones and rocks scatter the landscape. not much to be seen
the inside layer: dark tunnels growing with moss, fungus and teeming with sludge.
notable locations: hotum's bar, the spiked forest
notable residents: hotum, lil, venus

layer 5
the outside layer: desert. arid skies. sand everywhere. large, hollowed out rocks make up a few dwellings, but not much is to be seen for miles on the surface
the inside layer: thin and narrow openings in the rock lead to tunnel homes. you can travel for miles into the walls and never see another person. it is still dark and dry.
notable locations: the experiment camp
notable residents: tev, aoi, siclud, parasite, hearth

layer 4
the outside layer: cobblestone houses built with stone from layers 5 and 6. wood structures. use of burlap and harsh fabrics. torches for light and a constant fog in the air
the inside layer: pretty much the same as above, except everything feels like an alleyway. very easy to get lost
notable locations: the new world order base camp
notable residents: rial, gunter, klaus, mara, winona

layer 3
the outside layer: large, blocky conrete buildings. large, towering smokestacks. an extremely fast conveyor belt runs along the outside of the layer to prevent souls from climbing up. barbed wire runs along the top of the factory to prevent souls from climbing out
the inside layer: a large factory to process souls. thousands of spirits crammed into small spaces. living quarters are concrete slabs with no space for personal belongings.
notable locations: the factory. it is the layer
notable residents: ivan alvarez, luka, cathers (working), a, gutxi, angelica

layer 2
the outside layer: lush trees, running water. abundant berries. sunlight streaming in from layer 1.
the inside lsyer: long hallways and large glass windows. residential areas for every demon who lives there. flowing white curtains and fresh air.
notable locations: -
notable residents: cathers, mara (previously), dr. r. ality, leol, zaroth, little red, avon repus, gora

layer 1:
the outside layer: shining gold. black walls. running, crystal clear water.
the inside layer: abbadon's palace. it's gaudy. versailles level kinda stuff.
notable locations: abbadon's palace - throne room, entrance hall, the fall (a door in the center of the palace which drops down to the center of layer 6)
notable residents: abbadon

p.s. there is a cat hidden on each layer.... see if u can find them all :)
