How much is the light specked rat realistically going for? I know it was one of the pets to change value after the rarity overhaul so its original list placement isn't accurate anymore. The guide to CS rarities puts it in the same level as some nons but with demand I'm sure it doesn't go for nearly that...

The light speckled rat currently does have lower demand than other OMGSRs, and typically goes somewhere from 0.25 nons to 0.5 nons (or 0.5 to 1 sorb). here’s the search I ran for it on the VR/OMGSR success thread

In trading, pets tend to be valued most often by their rarity and the date of their release, so for example a 2009 rare would be more valuable than a 2010 rare. ^^ The three month rule is a commonly accepted standard that says that any two pets with the same rarity that were released within three months of each other should be an equal swap. An example of this would be trading a July 2010 rare for a September 2010 rare.

I might disagree slightly however; this is a malk fox and malk pets tend to have a smidge more demand than another pet of the same date and rarity. If I were offering for this pet then I would offer a pet within three months of the same rarity and also try to add something from my trading partner’s WL as a way to cover that extra tiny bit of demand.
