So I'm not sure if the Darkness in the lore can take physical forms or not, but my guess is that some manifestation of the Darkness in the form of some kind of evil carnival is going to try and steal Essence from the Suraimus. (Did I spell that right? At any given moment I'm 90% sure I'm not spelling that right.)
