Welcome to Patchwork Penguins!
Hello, I'm Shippe, and this is my little adoptable shop

Patchwork Penguins are a special sub-species of penguin
that resemble patchwork stuffed animals. They grow up fairly
quickly: they are born into litters of 4 eggs, and will hatch in
three days. As kids, they are very mischievous and playful, but
extremely shy and stick close to their litter mates. In four days
they grow from a kid to and adult. About one penguin per litter
will love being a kid so much that they are able to avoid grow-
ing up entirely! In fact, some adult patch pens will miss being
a kid enough that they can actually turn into one again! In rare
circumstances, an egg will not hatch, but this is okay as even
within an egg, a patchwork penguin will still live a full life!
Patchwork penguins will mate for life and typically only have one
litter, often only with 2 eggs. The patchwork penguin colony is
very tightly knit (*ahem*) and grows slowly, with only two litters
of four eggs being born per month! Although their colony is tight,
they will always welcome newcomers. Often, penguins will go
for a swim and find a new patchwork penguin egg or kid! Rarely,
they will even find otters that come join the colony! Typically
however, swimming is for fun and exercise as well as bringing
pebbles, fish, and seaweed back to the colony.

Customs will cost 500 pb and require a trade-in of any wishlist bun (I know these buns vary in value... if it is an extremely valuable wishlist bun, you'll get a range from 2 customs to unlimited pebbles) or equivalent value (not obtainable by bulk)

Patchwork penguins love to swim for fun and exercise. Sometimes they find goodies and/or make friends!


Swimming is a free activity that a penguin can do once a week!
Your patchwork penguin will go for a 24hr. swim and then rest for 6 days.
You can decrease your penguins cool down time to 3 days by purchasing
an energy bar from the shop.

Breeding rules:

1. Penguins only breed once, so choose your pairing wisely!
2. You must have a pink fish in order to breed two of your penguins
3. If you are breeding your penguin with another user's, only one of you
needs a pink fish
4. Penguins will produce 2 eggs unless you use yellow seaweed- in this case,
you will get 3 eggs- if you are sharing the litter with another use, the user
who bought the yellow seaweed will get to keep the extra egg
5. If you only want one of your eggs, the other will go to the pound to be
put up for free adoption
6. If sharing the litter with another user, each user will keep 1 egg
7. Patchwork penguins don't have a gender, so any two penguins can breed
8. If breeding your penguin with another user's, both users should post a form
