hey all - been a little bit, but got some updates!

First and foremost I want to thank you all for sticking with us. This past 6 months has been a whirlwind and I needed to take a break from the species until I felt like I was ready to take everything on again. That being said with the help of Venatici, the previous owner, we have custom coded a website for Baltic Huskies and our new sibling species Baltic Reindeer! While we are still adding final touches, we finally got the site up and running, all that is left is now fine tuning and adding images. The idea is to have the site automate claims/prompt and provide an official masterlist, because on cs it can be awfully difficult to update information if the original artist or owner is not available.

there are some nice and neat functions on the site that I think you all will enjoy. that being said, I am going start a small beta tester program. beta testers will at the very least:

- be given an early access invite code
- receive a custom to use throughout the site, one they will keep
- receive a beta tester badge, and potentially a beta tester title

as a beta tester you would be added to a private discord while we work out all of the issues with the site. since the amount of people will vary, the additional rewards are something to be discussed once everyone is together. the responsibilities of being a beta tester for us would mean filling out bug reports when you find something wrong, letting us know if you think something is formatted weird, etc. this is mainly for 1) us to figure out what breaks and 2) for us to get feedback.

if you are interested, post on this thread, send me a pm here, or a dm on discord if you have access to it, just stating you would like to be a beta tester / get more information. one of us will reach out to you with more details and how to get in the program. you are not required to be available all the time, or 24/7, just have enough time to give us feedback every now and then.

the schedule will be:
end of sunday, 7th, last time to opt into being a beta tester
end of saturday, 13th, wrap up testing for main site

just to clarify: these guys will still be on chickensmoothie. adoptions/oekaki/etc will all still be here, this is so that users have more freedom with what they can do while making it easier on the admins for prompts and masterlists.

In the end, the hope is to reopen the species and start making regular adopts again! This website will greatly help all admins keep track of, usually tedious and daunting tasks, and make using systems like rolls and prompts much more efficient! I have missed you all a great deal and this species will always mean so very much to me! Thank you so much for all of your patience and belief in me!

@ Sheelah,,, the species is currently closed as far as adopts and events as the website is being finalized but beta testing sign ups are until this Sunday the 7th! Please let me know if you have any more questions!
