Basics
Saoraptors are small, blood-sucking aliens. They are wily and clever, but also with a good dose of mischievousness, and can be either lone hunters or pack-reliant. They rarely kill- only draining a small amount of blood at each sitting- but will not hesitate to lash out if scared. Usually these raptors are quite playful, and every single one has its own habits. An unmistakable feature unique to the species is their mask-like beak: it opens into four sections to reveal a long, pronged tongue, which sucks blood and other fluids from prey. An extra pair of eyes inside the beak provide heat sensory. Saoraptors communicate to each other with clicks, chirps, and growls, made by rubbing or tapping their beak edges together. The glowing plates on its back and legs (called luminescence plates) are used to distract potential predators, creating a dizzying and confusing light show as the raptor darts around. Another defense is loud, unearthly hissing.

Rules
- Follow all general CS rules (i.e no art theft, adopts without permission, etc.)
- Be kind to everyone
- You can use personal Saoraptors for stories, RPs, etc. as long as they follow CS rules; character development is fine so long as their physical appearance isn't changed.

Staff-specific rules
- Do not make personal adopts unless you have completed your monthly adopt minimum (4 raptors)
- Guest artists may not use any traits above uncommon
- Official artists may not use any traits above rare without my permission
