Vervainpaw has always been a little uptight. From the start, she felt that she had a lot to prove. While her mother kept it a secret
from the rest of RushClan, she thought it would be cruel to raise her kits without revealing the truth of their origin, so Vervainpaw has
known the family secret for as long as she can remember. Her father was a kittypet. Vervainpaw, by extension, is half-kittypet, but she
set out to prove that her heart was all-warrior from the moment she received her name as an apprentice. This chip on her shoulder has
resulted in a rather stern young molly. Vervainpaw is very concerned with embodying the warrior code as best she can and is not
above policing others' behavior if she feels they could be doing a better job as warriors or future warriors. While her enthusiasm
and dedication is often appreciated by older cats, kits and other apprentices are more likely to see her as nagging snitch with a
stick up her rear. In truth, Vervainpaw was not always so opposed to relaxing and having fun, but the series of natural disasters
that have devastated the area had a profound effect on her. Losing her clan, friends, and family so suddenly was difficult enough
without needing to worry about integrating into a group with former rivals. The warrior code is about the only thing Vervainpaw has
left after so much else has been lost or changed. In particular, the floods were the most traumatic for Vervainpaw, who helplessly
watched her own mother get swept away. She developed a serious phobia of water as a result.
