"Look out!" Turning, Rayn barely at time to dodge a hurtling clump of grass as it soared over her shoulder. The small pup grinned sheepishly and lowered his head. "Sorry Rayn. It got away from us." The pup then ran around her to retrieve the clump and tossing it back at the other pups. She mearly sighed then turned and continued her patrolling. Her mind began to wander as she made her way to the edge of their territory. She was a lowly omega yet she dreamed of one day standing beside a powerful male as her mate. Even if she wasn't allowed to have pups she still wanted to feel that connection that she had seen between West and Xavier.

Shaking her head to bring her out of her reverie, her eyes focused on some movement ahead. An ominous scent reached her nostrils as she crouched down, slowly stalking towards it. If it was indeed what she thought it was she would rush back to the pups and get them to the den. She heard more rustling ahead, her ears perching forward. She took a deep breath and poked her nose through some bushes, her eyes widening in alarm at the sight before her...

Short story (2+ paragraphs): Adamma walked on the edge of woodland, trying to stop her sobs. "Why to my pups hate me?!" She yelled at a tall and thin oak tree. She growled at the birds who flew out of the tree. "You can't fly away from your problems!" Adamma shouted at the cardinal and the woodpecker who were two rockets, shooting through the sky. "Well, everybody hates me. I'm so different." She mumbled, talking to herself. Adamma shook her thick fur. The sun was melting away her pride.

Then Adamma stumbled along long patches of hair that looked very much like her own. "That's odd..." She murmurmed and followed the scent trail. Adamma came along a pack, which was filled with animals just like her. "Maybe I'm not so different after all." She said with a grin. She smiled and thanked the wolf who led her to the alpha.

1.] The stem that grows at the base of her tail shows a nature symbol and carries the scent. Her black stem resembles a flower and the longer it is, the more it will attract a male.
2.] Her blue eyes are rare, according to the Krieger eye-color scale.
3.] The alpha female of the Kriegers is West.
Why do you want to adopt?: I would like to adopt this Krieger because it has a beautiful design and Kriegers are such an amazing species.

Short story (2+ paragraphs):
Aestivia ran, the soda cans that littered the ground in this foriegn enviroment crunched under her feet like breaking bones and the stench of the dumpsters around her stunk worse than any rotting corpse. Her ears began to ring from all of the echoing screams that surrounded her and her eyes darted frantically around the web of alleys as she ran. The buildings' graffiti plauged walls appeared to be closing in on her. She could not be sure if they were or were not in this state of disaster and hastily ran faster. She did no know if escaping was an option at this point, evacuation had taken place hours ago. She herd the footsteps of her captors behind her and Aestivia reached a dead end. There was not turning back. They ran over to her, and grabbed her with unforgiving hands. They carried her back to their controled laboratory where they would continue to drain her power. She was hooked back up to the harness that she had escaped from an hour ago, her escape had clearly classified as a failure. After they left, Aestivia sulked for hours. She admitted that it was all her fault, this mass destruction. She knew she destined for a use better than this. She had made the worst desision of her life, choosing a life of power and greed, over a life of good and justice. She imagined her old life, peaceful, serene, and promising. She missed her old comrades, West and Xavier. Yes, she knows, she realizes that she is not an alpha anymore, but she once was a royal and respectable alpha.

Her unfortunate future began the day that they approached her. It was a beautiful summer evening, Aestivia was relaxing in the golden sun that shone above the horizon. Things had been difficult lately, the Kriegers were thrown into a war with their sworn enemy the Obskura and it seemed as if the fateful war was already lost for her people. She would have never thought times could be as tough as they were now, everything just seemed fruitless. Aestivia sighed at the thought of this and looked harder into the sunset, praying for a sign. She closed her eyes, waiting for something, anything to shine light on this dire situation. She tentativly opened her shut eyes, and what she saw made her freeze in shock, an enemy Obskura stood before her!

Short story (2+ paragraphs):
Amongst the uniqueness of the world, lies a species that blows unique out of the water. To call them beautiful, or amazing... It would be an understatement. Creatures like no other, they are the majestic Krieger. A female stood atop a ridge, the wind sifting through her pale, dust-colored fur. She chuckled at the mystery of the land. Green valleys drawing out in front of her eyes, a silvery fog hanging about. The early-morning dew clung to her fur like ladybugs to stalks of grass.

Aztrexia loved the beauty of the world. Adventure was always a custom of hers. She found that the world, no matter how somber, could be exhilirating if only you gave it the chance to be. Yes, she was a dreamer, and could sometimes be called nieve. She just found that she viewed the world differently than others. More optimistically. It made the elders wonder how such a bouncing, free spirit could be contained in such an elegant and refined form.

She was truly the best of many qualities. Dignified and proud, yet bouncy and sweet, with a brightness that shone in her deeply-set, neverending azure eyes. It seemed as if sunlight radiated from her. She reminisced about some memories, some good, some bad. Most very pleasant and bright. A few dark samples licked into the memories, though, that dimmed her light, only to have the great memories brighten it once again.

"Ah, yes. I remember when Tatizi dragged in his first kill." Aztrexia smiled. How proud she was of that young male. She had taught him a bit about hunting, and even witnessed the precise, flawless technique he used. Sometimes, his ability to be so outgoing and crazy, yet so mature for his age baffled her. He was a unique fellow, young Tatizi. One that she had grown to like. Sort of like a younger brother, she guessed.

(Story is a work-in-progress, gotta go to bed.)
