hornetswarm is a wounded animal who protects himself with bared teeth and unsheathed claws: a bitter
tom who spends most of his days alone -- silent, cold, and glaring. he is openly hostile and usually the
first to oppose his sister; it is not uncommon to find the two of them hissing and spitting in the middle
of camp. as aggressive as he is, it doesn't take much to realize he is an incredibly nervous and wary cat,
someone whose confidence has been completely drained from him. he has a difficult time trusting his
clanmates and an even harder time trusting himself; all he can rely on is his skill and cunning. there was
a time when this tom was bold and charismatic; cocky, perhaps, but eager to serve his clan in the best
way he could. after his father died, however, he lost track of who he was, and who he was supposed to
be was taken from him by his sister. hornetswarm likes to hope he could be happy again someday, but
is unwilling to try to be better when his sister shows no remorse for what she did to him. ────────────────────────────────────────────

from the moment he was born, hornetswarm basked in the glow of his father's favor and was always
excited for when sunblaze came to take him out for extra training. when he was younger he didn't know
why his sister was treated differently, and he soon realized it was best not to bring it up to his father.
ventually, he forgot all about it when he realized he was gaining admiration from all his peers due to
his excelled progress in training. when sunblaze died, however, hornetswarm fell into a black pit of
grief, wherein his sister was easily able to overtake his place in the clan. she took what he believed
to be his birthright, and never really made it out of the shadows he retreated into after the death of
