Backstory (I know I don't have to do this but I really got excited for this!!): Catharina is the daughter of the demon queen, Morganna. She has glowing white hair the same color as the moon because she was born on the night of the full moon. This made her especially powerful and also a great source of anxiety for her poor mother. She had to rule a demon kingdom and an overpowered child who kept charming the nursemaids into giving her what she wanted. Catharina also has a thin tail that fluffs out into a feathery end and a tanned complexion from playing in the sun all day. When she was just nine years old, her kingdom, the kingdom of Eledrinin, went into war with the feared battle kingdom of Nydyrith. Morganna tried to keep their spirits up, but when the fighting got too hard, she decided to go into battle herself. War raged for another ten years, and when Catharina was nineteen, her mother sent her off to find a special artifact that might give them a chance. She gave her her most trusted bodyguard, to accompany her, and three gifts. The first was a long, white, flowing scarf that, when charged under the light of the full moon, would give her more power in her hour of need. Morganna had stolen this item from a giant. The second was two earrings that held the ashes of her father, who died protecting her. Morganna believed that by carrying her father with her, he might protect her again. The third was her blessing. This blessing made a star on her chest, marking her with the blood of demon royalty. All of these gifts would protect her on her journey to go, take the artifact from its faraway hiding location, and bring it back to save their kingdom from destruction.
