I think cats kit limit could be somewhere 4-6 kits, larger litter than that could be dangerous to the mommy and her kits (wild cats), but as house cats, females could have more kits, because of the help of humans and the kits could have better chance to survive too as the mommy don't need to worry about getting food.

ah im loving all these cats facts! did anyone know that majority of cats are
actually lactose intolerant? also, majority of cats normally have four kits
maybe slightly more or slightly less. in larger litters i think there is a larger
chance of kittens being stillborn than in a smaller one, since that's a lot
more for the mother's body to care for.
