Appearance
Robinsong is a large, pretty tortoiseshell tabby with black tufts of fur on her ears. She has long, thick fur that covers a few scars on her shoulders and neck from battles past. Underneath her fur she is quite the muscular she-cat, though her bountiful fluff gives her a softer appearance than a cat of her stature with sleeker fur may have. Her eyes are a golden hue similar to the color of some autumn leaves.
Personality
Most know Robinsong as a sweet, beautiful, and nurturing she-cat - and that's what she aims to be! However, she is not without her shortcomings; Robinsong holds a grudge, for one. Though she's amiable with most cats, there a few in the clan she isn't on speaking terms with due to something that likely happened moons ago. While she may try to remain cheerful and optimistic, she is easily upset by situations she feels hopeless, and is prone to worrying. In general, she is fiercely loyal to both her family and her clan, though she would prefer the life of a queen to that of a warrior. Robinsong is very open with her emotions and is honest almost to a fault, which has caused problems before in the past. She is the type of cat you can count on for good advice and reassurance, though it's best not to tell her anything you wouldn't want anyone else knowing.
History
Robinsong was born to warriors Marmotfreckle and Lake-eye, youngest of three and the only daughter. Her brothers, though her elders, were born smaller than weaker than her. As a result, Robinsong learned to help care for her brothers at an early age, which later led to her motherly and protective nature. Apprenticed under a harsh she-cat named Firdapple, Robinsong - or Robinpaw then - learned how to be a capable fighter, and became one of the best out of her group. She was given her warrior name alongside her brothers when they came of age, though dislocating her leg during training and intermittent bouts of sickness on her brothers' side caused them to have their warrior ceremony a month later than they should have. Robinsong developed feelings for Hailgaze as a young warrior. She had looked up to him when they were apprentices for his dedication, but never truly got to know him until they were both warriors. They became mates when she was 32 moons old, and for a few moons she had the perfect life. Just as Robinsong learned she was expecting kits, the clan's medicine cat passed away in her sleep. Their leader went to StarClan for guidance, and came back telling the clan that Hailgaze was to be the new medicine cat. Stunned, Robinsong protested. He had a mate, and was going to have kits! How could he be a medicine cat? Then Hailgaze broke it to her; he didn't actually love her, and had only used her to help father the next generation for the clan. She was disgusted, furious - and heartbroken. In a rare moment of anger, Robinsong lashed out at Hailgaze, giving him the best beating she could before her clanmates pulled her away.
In short, she was shattered by Hailgaze's announcement. Robinsong withdrew from most of her friends, feeling ashamed for how foolish she had been, and moved into the nursery a couple moons later. After some prompting and promises from support from the other queens, she allowed Hailgaze to help name their kits, though that was the first time she had spoken to him since he became a medicine cat, and would be the most she would talk to him in one sitting as their kits grew. After everything, there was a brief time when Robinsong resented having kits with him, and felt her love for them may be stunted over what had happened.
However, that couldn't be farther from the case. She loved her kits the moment she laid eyes on them. Though she was exhausted, seeing the three bundles of fluff at her belly made Robinsong happy for the first time in a very long time. Silently, she promised to be the very best mother she could be to them just seconds after they were born. Now, parenting isn't easy, especially when you refuse to speak to the other parent unless absolutely necessary, but Robinsong was and is and doting and affectionate mother, if not a bit overprotective.
