Goliath's are planet sized dragons that come from space.
The appearance and size of a Goliath will vary on their element & where they're located in space. Typically the size of a small planet, with features like: a scaly face, a short fur body, fluffy mane, horns, spikes, large paws and a bushy tail. In rare cases, they may grow larger than the norm, or develop body mutations related to their element type.
They can live up to 500 yrs if fed a healthy diet of cosmic energy and given lots of love.

Goliath's wield element based magic they can control & manipulate. A Goliath can harness additional magic from planets with similar properties to their element. This allows them to wield more power as they conquer more planets.

Goliath's are territorial and do not like sharing, especially planets. They will battle for the chance to claim a galaxy that has a sum of planets with their element type. To consume its cosmic energy, increasing it's power and prolonging it's life.

They make nearby planets their Den, nesting upon the planet until they lay eggs. The eggs appear grey and colorless, taking the form of a meteor that orbits the Den Planet until it hatches. This is so eggs can be disguised from Predators & other Goliath's. The hatchling then finds it way back to the Den Planet, where it will mature until large enough to leave and find its own Galaxy to call home.

After eons of passed time, the dragons learned that power can't fill the void in their hearts. Goliath's have since traveled across space to find loyal companions to test its worth of their power & love.

Adult- Sizing between Earth - Neptune

Its extremely rare, but a few dragons have grown as large as low mass stars - the size of the Sun

Diet

Goliath's do not consume food like we do. Instead they collect cosmic energy. This energy replenishes them, & prolongs their current life span.

☆How do I obtain one?
You may have to pay some kind of currency (US, C$, DA points, FR gems, etc) to obtain a Goliath.
OR some adopts will be free to obtain through raffles and Art/Writing competitions!

☆What are Star Tokens?
Star Tokens are the currency for the Shop! You can earn tokens from events, buying Tokens with C$, making entries in the artist search section OR trying out for an adopt with Star Tokens as prizes! Additionally, Staff can obtain star tokens by making adopts, modding the threads, etc. The discord will also have giveaways for Star Tokens!

☆Can I resell my Goliath?
No. You may only gift them to another user, raffle them off, or trade them for another Goliath/ Myo tickets/items. Please post the new ownership under the adopts official reference! (If staff doesn't respond after a few days to verify, pm the artist or me) If you don't want your Goliath, message me your adopt & I'll re-home the baby.

☆How many can I have?
You may own 12. Goliath staff may own 13 as a perk for being part of staff.
(Once the species picks up in numbers, I'll increase the amount)

☆Any restrictions on breeding my Goliath's?
Breeding cool down is only a month. You have 5 breeding slots. Goliath's can be any gender and have any sexuality. Same sex dragons can breed. You may breed any dragon so long as they are not related or underage.

☆Can offspring from 2 different element parents inherit both elements?
Extremely rare for this to happen! Both parents must have 2 elements each to pass it to the babies. Or one parent with 2 elements and a high roll for the trait. Usually offspring will only take one of the parents element types, but you CAN by pass it with an item.

☆I just got banned, can I still keep my Goliath's and chat in the community?
No. Your Goliath's will be put under house arrest if your ban is temporary. During that time DO NOT interact with the community. If you are permanently banned, your Goliath's will be put up for re-adoption & your not allowed to interact with the community in anyway. Any items or MYO tickets will be taken and raffled off.

General Rules:

♥Goliath's are a closed species, you are not permitted to make your own unless you are Goliath staff, or have a myo ticket.
♥Do not trace/reproduce/claim the species as your own, or you will be banned.
♥Be respectful. Harassment and bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. (Instant ban)
If you are being harassed where staff can't monitor (Off site), please contact staff to deal with it!
♥ Don't steal or claim another users Goliath as your own
♥ You can't sell or trade your artist entries. If you or another user has a MYO ticket of the right rarity, you may claim it. OR you may claim it as your custom when promoted to artist (You must have the proper MYO rarity perk saved up to claim)
♥ Purchasing of Goliath's is allowed for any kind of currency. USD transactions must be discussed offsite.
♥All transfers of ownership must be posted under the adopts reference then approved by a staff member.
♥ You may own 12 Goliath's (It'll increase as the dragon # grows)
♥ You may only Auto buy a Goliath once a week. (This is to give a chance to others to also get one)
♥When purchasing an adopt for any kind of currency, only bid with funds you have. Payment must be received within 24 hrs or the Goliath will go to the next highest bidder. That being said, you can't retract your bid, so make sure you have the amount first!
♥Goliath's can be transferred out-of-species with the permission of the original artist; if so, you can no longer use the Goliath and the character will no longer be able to participate in breedings or events.
♥ Items & MYO Tickets may not be sold, only traded with other items/MYO's/Goliath's.
♥ You may draw fan-art, roleplay, start a mini army and write stories about your Goliath's. I highly encourage it!
♥ Goliath's may not be co-owned. They must remain under the ownership of a single user at a time for the purposes of breeding, trading, etc.
♥ Don't mini-mod the threads. Allow staff to answer any questions and contact staff directly with issues.
♥ Goliath staff reserve the right to fix and alter rules to better the species, and ban as they see fit. Bans may be permanent or temporary.

Artist/Guest Artist:
♥Guest Artist have 35 days to complete 3 adopts. In that time you can't sell or make Offer-to-adopts. Only raffle, or create a competition.
♥ Guest artist must make 1 standard adopt for their 1/3 adopt trial. The other 2 may have traits up to uncommon.
♥Guest artists who are promoted to Artist will reap official artist perks a week after they are promoted.
♥Full time artist are expected to complete 3 adopts a month. If you can't, please speak to me about becoming a ghost artist.
♥Full time artist must ask me for permission before using any rare+ traits in their adopts.
♥Full time artist may own 13 Goliath's.
♥Artists must use the element symbols when posting an adopt. This way dragon element types are easy to recognize.
♥Artists please change your BG to the "Grey BG" when the Goliath has been adopted out (This way users will know which adopts are available/Taken)
