You could really quickly mark the main thread now and then edit one of your posts on the event page to also be a mark so that you're following the rules..? (I hope this isn't mini-modding... I just thought I would suggest it. 0.0')

You got the main threads correct, you just need to edit your post on the event thread to say "marking!" And link to that post (you do this by tapping the heading over your post and copy the link it creates). Then make a post on the main adoption page saying "marking!" And creating a link to that post. If you want to see what I mean, you can click the links I made in my entry. ^^'
