Species info:
-Semi-acquatic dragon species
-Have no nostrils, they can breathe through the skin like most amphibians
---can spend up to 10 hours out of the water, as long as they keep their skin wet
-Have gill pads on the neck and shoulders, these are their primary breathing organs
-Have wings, but can only glide short distances. They are mostly used as fins or as a secondary pair of arms.
-Have four antennae on the back of the head
---the longer pair detects far-away sounds, the short pair detects closer sounds and act as a natural compass
---there are four short barbels around the mouth, these can detect electrical currents (when underwater) and smells (both in and out of water)
-Their retinas reflect light, giving them good night vision
-They normally have tough sandpapery skin, but some individuals can grow scales instead
-They have tiny but sharp teeth, like orcas and dolphins
-They have sharp barbs on their palate and root of the tongue (like penguins), the tongue itself is scratchy, like a cat's
-Strict carnivores, but can eat plants if the situation is dire enough. Absolutely no fruit or sweets.
-The tail has sticky pads underneath, they can anchor the Kaari to underwater surfaces to avoid having to fight strong currents
-Size can vary greatly, they usually grow to fit the environment they are in
