Hailing from a mystical plane known as Luce are dog-like creatures with innate magic powers from birth called Unis [You-Knees]. Their identifying trait being a horn on their heads and a gem in their pectoral muscles...though there are exceptions. They are pescetarian with the inclusion of dairy and dearly love sweet things often times taking on the scent of their favorite sweet. On Luce the lifestyle of Uni's are somewhat a mix of the middle and stone ages in the sense of their magic making them developed enough to make potions, castles and moats but their nature leaving them to enjoy a nomadic or free lifestyle Regardless Luce is paradise for to all Unis so seeing them outside of this plane normally means they serve or seek a purpose.
Their Magic can manipulate the space around them, let them travel to alternate dimensions and gives them a pocket in space and time where they can store things their thumbs though functional are mainly there for aesthetics. Luce do not have any gender though they can identify as them, and Unis reproduce in pairs although other Unis (2 max) without a change to breeding status can offer a blessing which can 'add' details or even traits depending on the Blessing Uni's rarity. ✧They don't have genders but they can identify as them, but yes they can breed ;].
✦Their power and gem color and shape are not related but the size and quantity of the gem present are influences. This doesn't mean that Over-powered or weak Unis cannot survive or are discriminated against, on Luce there's a place for every Uni.
✧Although Unis are normally optimists feel no pressure to make a Uni that fits in, Unis can have any personalities they want.
✦Even though Unis are adopted from a plane separate from Luce they can live there if that's your choice setting.

✦1:Chin Tufts
They are a mandatory part of the Uni's body and work like whiskers that detect magic, they can droop and stick out depending on the Uni's state of mind and or environment.

✧2:Gem/Pendant:
Another mandatory part of a Uni gems/pendants are what channels the magic to the Uni's horns.They don't have to be existing mineral or alloy though if it's made up it should be recognized as an unknown 'mineral' or a 'metal' not unicornite or dragonium. Giving the mystery material properties that co-respond with the Uni's rarity is also okay. A Uni's gem does not always have to be placed on their chest, if it is placed elsewhere which is an Uncommon trait,their magic is not effected but they might have to take precautions to protect it. The size of it is the only thing that effects the Uni's magic and is marked with a [⭐︎].

⋄2.1: A simple shaped gem with no cut is considered Standard, and a simple shape gem with any cut is considered Common.
⋄2.2: Any abnormal shape like shapes with both curves and edges/points, shapes that have no symmetry ( ♠ ♣ ♥✦ etc.) or more than 6 sides (★) are considered Uncommon.
⋄2.3: A gem/pendant that replicates or represents a symbol, sign or is just really complex is considered Rare.
[⭐︎]2.4: A gem/pendant that is incredibly thin/small, or large has a negative/positive effect on the Uni's magic power capacity and is considered Rare.
⋄2.5:A gem/pendant that isn't a gem or mineral crystal but a solid alloy (gold,silver, copper etc.)is considered Rare.
[⭐︎]2.6: A gem/pendant of any shape,mineral/alloy or size with an outward growth is considered Ultra-Rare.
[⭐︎]2.7: A gem/pendant made from both Alloy and Mineral is considered Mystic.
[⭐︎]2.8: A gem/pendant made with two types of gems or two types of alloy is considered Mystic.

✦3:Patch
There is no fancy name for it, but this is a lightly fuzzed patch of skin on a Uni that helps it to breath in regardless of the atmosphere or place the uni is in, though they do have a harder time breathing in liquids.Patch size can not extend past the colored example above and a change in it's shape is considered Common. Which then brings us to Uni muzzles which are in most cases just for smelling and aesthetic sense.

⋄A: A canine muzzle is considered Standard.
⋄B: A deer like muzzle is considered Uncommon.
⋄C: A snake like muzzle is considered Rare.
⋄D: A lack of any nostrils and/or gills present is considered Ultra-Rare.

✧4:Tail:
Every Uni must have a tail, what that tail is made of or how much of it is hair or fur is completely different. There are three Standard tails the [url]Roll[/url],[url=Floof]Floof[/url], and the [url]whip[/url], any [url]Minor[/url] changes to them are considered Common. A completely different tail is considered Uncommon , 2-3 tails are considered Rare and 4+ tails are
Ultra-Rare. If your Uni's tail is made out of anything inorganic or complete vegetation it is Mystic.

✦5:Tail Horn:
This is not a standard trait and are actually Common, however they are most always the same type of horn as the ones present on their heads if they don't match it is a Rare trait. These horns although made from the same material as the Uni's main (head) horn are practically useless in magic and are most often used in spars, hunts and or games. The joint at which the horn is connected is ball-and socket type joint so it's really flexible.

✧6:Paws:
There are five toes(?) to each paw and one of them is a thumb or can be used like one, larger or smaller paws. Claw edits are Common and paw pad shape edits are are considered Rare unless they are mis-matched which would be an Ultra-Rare trait , however a Uni with hind hooves and hooves only would have an Uncommon trait, this is because they are decedents of unicorns and I think the occasional really cool but not high rarity trait is nice.

✦7:Teeth:
They have teeth like a canine only there are 3 incisors on the upper and lower jaw. Colored teeth are a Standard trait while actually changing the teeth shape, size or bone structure is Uncommon. The tongue shape and length are Standard edits while changing body fluids (blood/Saliva) would be an Uncommon trait. Any teeth made from inorganic matter is a Mystic trait.

✧8:Ears:
Ears are a necessary part of this species and I don't know how to feel about an [url]earl-ess Uni[/url] but editing a Uni's ears makes them Uncommon. If you want to nick, or add scars to your Uni's ears it is possible, see[url] exceptions[/url].

✦9:Horn:
A Uni's horn is very important for their way of life and every Uni has one. Whether it's the Standard nub-like horn, a single pointed horn Common,2 horns Uncommon,3 horns or horns that are semi transparent Rare,or even Horns that are made from inorganic matter or that rather than the head exist on the body are Ultra-Rare.They/it must be present on a Uni at all times.

Design Exceptions

★ Scars,nicks and tattoos need to be approved by staff and a separate reference without the modifications must be available to the public while accessories may be added to the reference of your uni by hired artists or yourself without approval Must be CS appropriate with a public original reference available.
★ When drawing your Uni slight changes in the way fluff, or hair may look or even different hairstyles are can change However, changing the design made on the ref is not allowed and will result in penalty.
★If you would like to revamp an old custom design it is allowed but only with staff approval. Traits may not be changed unless items are used and your Uni must be a Custom or MYO, moreover if the Uni was traded recently it has to have a 2 month cool-down before revamping.
★If a Uni's design is unclear or blurry in an area when it is designed as a Nip (Uni Baby) then slightly changing it's design when grown can be accepted as long as the change was mentioned in the growth post and the final design is approved.
★While design inspiration is a thing blatantly copying someone's design and claiming it as your own, or referencing anyone's original design and/or character is not okay, do it and you may be barred from making any Unis periodt poo.
★Any design questions and or inquiries can be directed to the artist that made it or myself otherwise.
