"Vulpes volux"

A species of fox with highly flexible DNA, volux can be found with any number of unusual features and markings. While certain traits appear to be less common than others, new ones are always being discovered. This unusually frequent occurrence of significant benign mutations makes the species the focus of many researchers.

At around 40-60cm in height, and 4-7kg in weight, the species survives on an omnivorous diet. Their range of traits allows them to survive in a variety of habitats. As new populations are found, new traits are uncovered.

In the wild, they live in small communities, with kits raised by every member of the group. They maintain strong social bonds with other volux.

Each volux possesses a "hidden trait": a type of recessive gene not shown on the volux that carries it. Pairing two individuals with the same hidden trait will result in the appearance of that trait in at least one of the kits.
Unique and rare characteristics are found most often through breeding, where they have a substantial chance of inheritance.

> You are responsible for answering questions, correcting forms/posts, and reporting any issues to me
