As you approach the campsite today, you see the travelers gathering their things, loading their caravans. They’re leaving. Or, at least, preparing to leave. You think back to everything you’ve shared with them, the bonds you’ve formed...
You might have just enough time to say goodbye.
Say Goodbye!
Take a moment to give the event some closure. Does your kalon go and say goodbye to everyone? To their favorite host? Or do they simply reflect to themselves on all that they’ve discovered?
Use this as a space to bring your chapter to a close.
This prompt will not be judged, but will still award participation and charisma to those who complete it. No competition - just have fun!
Minimum 250 words, or a clean sketch.
No comics or animations.

Vero reflected on all that he was made to think about the past few days. From memories of his childhood to questions too deep for him to actually comfortable reply out loud, he didn't expect this from a traveling market. He'd been excited to come and maybe pick up some songs from people he'd never be able to meet otherwise, possibly get some exotic goods, but this? He was unsure if he actually enjoyed his time here.
Of course, the first few days had been good, and he'd met two lovely ladies that asked him about things that made him feel warm inside, talking about those he loved and something he treasured, and then two handsome men that had taken part of his heart when they parted ways (curse his loose feelings), but after that, for the most part, it had taken a large emotional toll on him, thinking up answers that wouldn't make him sound like a fool to the people prompting him for them.
He thinks about going back to say goodbye to those who didn't ask for his secrets or get too heavy on him, but as he wanders around the carts all packing up, Vero realizes he doesn't remember what the people he'd talked to look like. The only one he vaguely remembers is someone he just talked to (who he already said goodbye to) and the very first girl he'd spoken with by the fire, who asked about his loved ones.
Vero spent the next few minutes looking for her before becoming quite impatient and giving up before his emotions took over. If he wasn't meant to say farewell, he wouldn't. As that thought crossed his mind, he shrugged and said a quiet goodbye to the general group, giving a wave and taking his leave.

Evangeline stopped at the edge of her path leading home when she looked back one last time at the caravan. She turned and ran back, heading up first to Al-Asha and giving him a polite bow. "Thank you for reminding me how much I love to dance, and how much I love making new friends! It was really nice meeting you, and I hope you have a safe travel. Share your story and lesson with others, please... I think we could really learn something from you, about how it's not our name or face that matters, but what we put out and take in. Thank you, friend!"
The tan colored kal ran over towards Devin. She repeated her formalities and handed her what looked like a small locket with pressed flowers inside, some of them creeping out from not fitting inside properly.
"I made this myself, and I wanted to give it to you as a thank you gift. I enjoyed seeing all the beautiful trinkets your grandmother made, and it reminded me how much I loved my own special little something. I'm really grateful for your kindness, and I hope you are safe in your departure, farewell and thank you!"
Lastly, Evangeline made her way down the mysterious path towards the kal who had not shared his name. She had already said her goodbyes to him, but she wanted to share one last thing she had found with him as a thank you gift.
"Hey... I'm sorry, I am just... so awkward. But I have something for you," she took a little box of cinnamon and miscellaneous flower petals out of her knapsack and handed them to him, "this is a thank you. I kind of left abruptly and I felt bad, I found these and, uh, yeah!" She blushed, feeling enamored and shy. "Thank you again, happy trails! I hope your journey is safe and grand... and uh, maybe end up back around here... I'd love to see you again..." she shook her head, feeling embarrassed. "FAREWELL!" she squeaked and ran back.
Making her way down the winding road that lead further and further away from this mysterious and strange caravan, Evangeline sighed in contentment. Maybe this experience taught her to enjoy the little things in life... we shall see.

Faolan jumped up to sit on an empty barrel with a slouch to his posture. He observed the going-ons with a seemingly disinterested eye as kalons wheeled their possessions back into their wagons and chatted among themselves. Faolan hadn't interacted with anyone besides that one dark stranger who admitted his "secret" crush to; he would have to follow them up to make sure they didn't leak anything. However, this suited Faolan just fine: he didn't enjoy the expectations so much of the stories he had to share, or to have to come up with a story at all. What Faolan wanted to know was everyone else's story. It had been entertaining, slipping through the shadows of the caravan to listen in to others, and gather potentially valuable information for his mafia.
Though, Faolan didn't really think anything would be that useful. Besides the couple violence-orientated kalons that had looked a bit scruffy, a bit dangerous. This caravan was more an exploration of the kalon spirit than anything, and Faolan's mafia needed numbers, guns, and drugs.
He enjoyed it. The more lax atmosphere. The giving of information so freely. Faolan reckoned there was no reason to stop his excursions away from his daily duties; it was always a breath of fresh air for him.
Brushing off his legs, the kalon hopped off the barrel and returned to the shadows of the caravan to find his motorcycle, hidden away in the bushes. Faolan tsked - why was hiding it necessary again? With a heave, he pushed it out of the bushes and hopped up onto the seat after a quick brush-off and turned on the ignition. Clamping his helmet into place, Faolan took one last glance back at the caravan before speeding off into the night with a loud rev of his engine.

“I was fun while it lasted.” Juniper gives a sorrowful sigh. “I guess, this means I have to say goodbye now, right?” She looks up a the 9 wonderful new friends he had made over the little days they had together. “Thats a shame… I hate goodbyes.” Juniper takes a step and takes in the joyful sight of 9 wonderful kalons. "No, not a goodbye, a thank you, thank you for this wonderful time, my dear friends." She smiles, giving each of them a slice of the slightly burnt pumpkin pie she previously made. "Here take some, it's the least I could do, oh, I made some cards too!" She hands each of them a little card with a big thank you written on each.
This was a fun adventure that she never wants to forget.
"I guess, It's time for my departure now, huh?" Most of the kalons nod, only some are too busy inhaling the pumpkin pie she had given them. "Haha! Glad you liked them!" She turns away from them. "Goodbye, farewell..." She quickly walks of before anyone can notice her tearing eyes. "Bye..." And that was the last thing she said to those friends of hers, not sure if she would ever see them again. Maybe one day, hopefully, their paths will cross again once more.
Their farewells fade as she reaches the dirt track. She loved the time when she could bring back her memories, the things she takes most pride in, an dance, Jasper did a funny one on that. Thank you for the great time Kalon Staff!
