Short personality description: Arin doesn't really know what's going on. His species has had space travel for several centuries now by the Standard Galactic Year estimate but they've been fairly xenophobic until recently and Arin never planned to travel off planet. He's never been the most outgoing person and now in this loud crowded intergalatic melting pot he's started to pull even further into his shell, preferring to watch and learn rather than interact and get his hands dirty.
Hobby/Hobbies: Arin loves to grow crystals. He also enjoys writing poetry.

Short personality description: Mara is usually friendly and outgoing, willing to go to any lengths to win the affections of the people around her. She's got a quick wit and frequently makes jokes, but whether they are at the expense of herself or others depends on how she's feeling. Rarely does a gap in her façade appear; when one does, she is very quick to hide it and is experienced in doing so. This part of her, usually concealed so well, contains all her fears and other negative emotions that she simply cannot let anyone else see. It can't happen and she does everything in her power to stop anything getting out.
Hobby/Hobbies: Mara enjoys researching various historical topics, particularly anything in the field of magic. She regularly practices spells of sorts that she claims to have found in one ancient text or another, but unfortunately has little or no success. Nevertheless, she continues researching and longs for the day she can turn someone into a frog. Properly.
Quirk(s): Despite having the tastes of a cat, therefore being unable to taste sweet things, she is still drawn towards the unique scents of sweet foods and often eats them anyway. She also claims to have a special affinity with the moon and night, being mostly nocturnal and always carrying around a lucky charm in the shape of a crescent moon.

Additional info (optional): She prides herself on her athletic skills, since she's part cat, but they're not the greatest. She regularly falls over when practicing a manoeuvre or trying out a new type of flip or kick. Just... don't mention it to her.
