...I think that took about as long as I expected.


The level of white looks a lot better when it's zoomed out, so I'm glad that does actually work how I was hoping when zoomed out!

They're inspired by pangolins and also nudibranches? The colours were all picked from these three creatures. I can also go in and snipe out the full palette of everything I used if wanted!
The pattern on his cheek is meant to look like the outline of some seaweed and such, go wild if you decide to keep that idea!

Anywho! If ya take him, you are welcome to simplify those scales...

Uncommon: Longer claws, Fur (a bit less floofy)
Common: Minor tail (a bit less floofy)
No Rarity: Dark sclera (purplish here but whatever you think works!)

You can of course add other edits if you think it looks good + fun to do + it suits the design you come up with! Those are just the ones I think that are kinda core to looking like a weird pangolin-sea snail addition to the hybridisation as it stands ;P
Similarly, take those edits to whichever level you think works best and remains fun for you to actually do!

Yeah I think with this complicated boi a sketch first definitely makes sense. I'm 100% fine with simplifying them, too, I just had a vibe I wanted to go for here with the level of it ;P

I added you as well (which I hope worked) so if you want to sketch things out here that is also now an option if you want it!
