I want this pet because:
I looked around members of chickensmoothie, and I saw wonderful designs by you, Solfeggio. I pondered where to adopt one myself, and once I came here, saw your post: 'Charrie for adoption', I scrambled toward the front page, and saw the beauty right there. I've been looking at the character for a long while, and wondered 'How about I try to post a form?'. I've been interested in long mane wolves, and I really like how Vannessa's long mane is pulled back with a ponytail, because most of the time, I like putting my hair up in a ponytail, myself. Her colors fit in my point of view, and her eyes, green. I sometimes wish I had green eye color. Don't forget the collecting knick-knacks. I actually collect something too....pins. Not a lot now, I actually collect a specific type of pins. It sounds funny, but I actually do have a collection of pins. :3
I think, overall, Vannessa looks fascinating. <3
If you don't mind, I have a little story.
Story:
I don't know how I got myself into this mess.... Me? I'm in a tangled up situation. I'm Vannessa. You see, I walk the streets of a town that's pretty old. It's actually normal, the outside marketing, selling and buying, horses tied up to a post, just the regular. What's really messed up, is how these people chase me around. They think I'm some old trickster that would get their stuff in a split! Well, you've heard enough of me, and you probably want the whole story, so let me just tell it to you.
I hide under the wooden, brown tables of the market. I didn't want anyone to see me, so no one could chase me around like a mouse. Oh look, right on time. There goes the morning bird chirping. I've talked to that bird, the morning is supposed to be a race for him, so he's always here before dawn, and when the sun comes up, he chirps. I squirmed toward another table to get a better look at that thing. The bird turned toward me.
"Well, well, isn't it thieving Vannessa. How are you doin' on this sunny day?" he chirped. I rolled my eyes with a little bit of playfulness.
"Just fine, Flute. Why, just better! I'm as cheery as a bird for spring. I ain't thieving today, why, I've never done anything like it. I've found nickels and quarters around these parts, I pay like everyone else, but those men think I thieved every single knick-knack in the town. Why, I'd give 'em a piece of my mind if I could! Never mind. Did you find any new knick-knacks today?" I replied, a bit annoyed. Flute chirped a bit more happily. I could tell he was enjoying a bit of my complaining.
"Yep. Table 4, 3rd row, 5 quarters. It's pretty nice, ya know." Flute answered. I grinned with excitement.
"I'll meet ya soon. Will be back with a new knick-knack and a smile to fit the day!" I exclaimed, and with that, I fled over to table 4. I scanned the items. There were so many things! I looked at the third row, and glanced at a bronze colored elephant. That must've been the one Flute was talkin' 'bout! I dug around my tan-colored pouch. I've kept this thing for a long time, ever since I could remember. It was a bit dirty, maybe some mud stains here and there, but it still looked bright. I look at the under pocket. 5 quarters just in time. I snatched the elephant and in it's place, put the 5 quarters. The merchant barely looked at me, and I quickly pulled my paw away from the table just in time for the merchant to collect the quarters. He looked puzzled, maybe wondering who took the elephant. Too bad he didn't know it was a wolf. You know, I think he wouldn't even mind. Anyway, as I was walking though the tables, something caught my eye. It was a gold object, shaped perfectly like the sun and moon. It swayed left and right, depending on what time of day it is. It was just 6 quarters on it's red tag! I skimmed though my bag. 6 quarters left. What would I do? Plus, guess who showed up? Flute. He chirped with playfullness.
"What will you do now, thief?" Flute chirped. I rolled my eyes.
"I'll pay for it, simple." I answered, my green eyes glowing with perfection. He chirped with a bit of betrayal. He flew up to the table, grabbed the object, and flew back down. He stole it! Flute chirped as loud as he could, and pushed the object toward me. A few minutes later, men were under the table, and Flute was in my pouch. I gasped, horrified.
"Eh! It's a wolf! I bet that scoundrel is thieving! Just look at the valuable object in it's muddy paws! Trap it!" A man said. My eyes were large with fear. I fled, dashing away under the tables. The men started shasing me down. I gasped, breathless. What would I do?
WIP, if I could.
