100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: This territory is actually a serious of islands, the first of which connects to the mainland via sandbar during low tide. Some of the islands have trees, others are nothing more than sand and rocks. The largest island, located farthest from the mainland, is lush and lively. A thick jungle covers most of area, while other areas are field, and of course the perimeter is a sprawling sandy beach. This island is the true home of the territory. Everyone has plenty of room to roam, and this island is so far from the next that only strong swimmers can reach it from the islands before it, making it a safe place to raise cubs. The lions that live here are expert swimmers and fishermen, hunting lobsters in the tidepools and larger fish in the open water. Occasionally, a select few with excellent stamina will make the trip to the mainland to hunt large game, but this happens only when tides are particularly low, so as to allow them to walk across the sandbar for as long as possible.

The lion who first claimed this territory is an athletic male named Mar. He grew up near the seashore, and was considered odd due to his love for the sea and skill in swimming. When it came time for him to branch out on his own, it is no wonder that he found a territory surrounded by the sea.

(I hope island/ocean territory is acceptable, I know it wasn't mentioned in the intro but I also read that territory is flexible. c: )

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: The Ndege Pride was founded when their leader, Phoenix, stumbled upon a bird's nest up high on a mountain cliff, and looked back up at the mountain he was climbing. He had found a place to rest on his journey, and will likely remain there for the rest of his life. He found a large, winding cavern and started a fire. He curled up next to it, and slowly fell asleep. When he woke up, he had already decided that there was no real reason to continue moving. He had found a safe, warm area where food is plentiful. He explored the cave system for a while and determined that this was a good place to stay.

The Dragon's Crest pride lives in and around the ruins of an abandoned medieval-style castle. It's unknown how it got here in the first place, since there are no humans in the valley. The castle is surrounded by a dried-up moat that has been turned into an expansive garden, where magical herbs and flowers of all sorts are grown. The lions here tend to be nocturnal, sleeping in the castle at day and going out to hunt and gather supplies at night. It's rumored the members of Dragon's Crest are immortal, since the founder has stayed the same as long as anyone can remember.

The founder themself discovered the ruin when they were a cub, well, sort of. It came to them in a dream, and the elders of their pride scolded them, saying such a thing couldn't be possible. When they were a bit older and had just gotten their mane, their pride was divided in a war and they fled to safety, as many others did. They found the oddly-familiar crumbling structure and decided to make it their new home. The Dragon's Crest pride was founded here and has hardly changed since its beginning.

The mountain has drastic climate changes hot in the summer freezing in the winter. This basin is filled with mountain ox and goats so food is plentiful..but sadly the mountain is dangerously cold in winter meaning that if you don't have a mane you could freeze! Before he found the mountain the founder was a wanderer, he never stayed in one spot for more than 24 hours because he was being chased by the ravens and scavengers wherever he went. The lore of this land is that there is a powerful lion with wings of an angel and the horns of a demon, which everyone worships as the god of the mountains.

100 words (minimum) about their territory: these lions make their home in a forest, in an underground cave system similar to an ant colony. their pride has been there for so long nobody knows the origin of these tunnels, although they tell tales of ancient lions with stone claws, hard enough to dig through any obstacle. their hunting grounds are the forest above their home, and they have all the prey they need during the warm seasons, but are left lacking in the fall and winter. the neighboring prides are unsure where their camp is, so they're left alone most of the time, which suits them just fine.

100 words (minimum) about their territory/where their pride will be built/how they achieved this territory: This pride will live in a rocky crag area of the valley, where they bed atop the flattened rocks that project up into the sky, which will allow them to scope out their territory - watching for dangerous rival prides and weakened, prey herds travelling by. This pride first claimed this area after they were banished from a bigger pride which rule a section of the lush jungle; where prey is much more plentiful. But now, they have learnt to thrive on smaller prey items by hunting during the night, as to avoid wasting energy travelling in the exhausting mid-day heat. The pride hopes to expand once they build up their numbers and strength, hopefully they will return to the jungle once more and reclaim their original home.

The Kingdom of Thorns resides in a burnt, barren wasteland of a valley. The ground is black and crumbling. Plants, for the most part, are small and sparse. The most abundant plants are the Plague Bushes, which is a fitting name for the dangerous plants. At first glance, they look like clusters of dead bushes covered in thorns, but the plants are far from dead. Vibrant red berries grow on these bushes, named "Plague Berries" after the vile, contagious illness that they cause. To the far left of the valley is a dark, foreboding jungle, known only as the "Forbidden Territory." It is said that lions that enter the Forbidden Territory never come out, or at least not alive. The camp of the kingdom is in the middle of the valley, in an area with piles of charred logs which the lions of the kingdom sleep upon.
The Kingdom of Thorns is thought to have always been there -- no one who is left alive can recall when the kingdom first began. The King is quite old and somewhat senile, but was young when he founded the kingdom. The kingdom once flourished, with an abundance of prey, but now prey -- or life of any kind, really -- is difficult to find. Rumors say that a curse was cast upon the kingdom after the King committed a horrid deed, but the King refuses to comment on this rumor.
