9/10 ;; I really like their colour scheme. I'm a sucker for greyscale, even if it's used a lot, but the purple shirt and accents help break all of that up and it gives them a really sophisticated look overall. I especially love the messy black hair, it's a really nice style. Personally, I'm not a huge fan of object-shaped pupils, but that's more of a personal nitpick than anything, and in their context it makes a lot of sense. The "x" shapes just throw me off. In terms of things to maybe add, I think they would benefit from some cool and unique jewelry, like maybe a necklace with a big amulet, maybe it's something that ties them back to their planet(?) or race? Also some markings would be neat! Even if they're just a splash of darker freckles across the face or maybe small clusters of tiny black spots here and there (like along the arms/legs). I can tell you've put a lot of thought into their story and species, though, which I definitely respect!

How about this new lady? For her name, I'm currently caught between Ines and Anja (ahn-ya) so I'd love some feedback! Her concept is still a little tentative as I literally JUST got her but I'm thinking she's some kind of cold-blooded assassin from a cold and icy region, she's very stoic and rigid. That's... about all I got so feel free to throw me some ideas. For now, I'd appreciate if you just rated her on her design!

9/10! She’s really pretty! Her design definitely fits her story. I can definitely see this character being a cold blooded assassin, which is good! Also I really like her colors and markings, the blues make it seem more like she’s from a cold place. The little coat thing she’s wearing is also really cute! I like that it’s a warm orange, it looks good against the cold blues. I also really like the bandages on her hind legs, I just love when characters have bandage accessories for some reason.
Overall this is a really good character, love to see where you go with her!

He’s actually a old oc I made back in 2016 but I just now redesigned him! Sadly he still doesn’t really have a story yet and I still need to develop him more, but he’s quick on his feet and a mysterious fellow. I’d love to know what you think!

10/10! i really like this guy! normally plague doctor stuff has been starting to feel kind of overdone, but the way you designed this character makes the concept feel pretty fresh. i really like the sickle and i may also be a little biased as purple is one of my favourite colours, so i love the palette. i am VERY excited to see what you end up doing with his story, I'm very intrigued! the only thing i MIGHT change is that a hint of gold might make his design pop just a little more.

this guy? unnamed as of yet, suggestions are welcome. he was part of a small village that practised magic and was kicked out when they found out he was doing some forbidden stuff (namely, giving life to inanimate objects -- the fish and shark are puppets that he made and then gave life to) and now lives alone. his necklace turns into the spear at the bottom of the ref. original design by keshinami, revamp and art below by me. also interested in hearing what you think of the revamp compared to the original!

Pros:

I adore this for several reasons - We'll start simple, I love the pallet you've used, personally I'm a bit weak to white/navy blue mixed tones, and the strategic use of them throughout his design is organised and easy on the eye.

His design - His patterns are both intricate yet easy to follow which is great for recreating him accurately in commissions. I love the looping waves in the stripes, it's a nice change from unorganised traditional stripes and looks like a representation of what would be, scales. OH OH and I forgot to mention, I freakin' love the sharks. so, so much. 10/10 adorable, would pat

His structure - I like that you've gotten creative with his anatomical structure. So many characters nowadays lack creativity simply because they've got a very textbook structure. His tail is a good length and balances out his height to length ratio. His pointed snout really helps keep his streamline predatory look that suits the shark fins. I really love his whiskers, they remind me of Haku (water spirit) from spirited away, you could make them longer if you wanted to. I also prefer his ears much more on your design rather than the original.

Cons:

Colour complexity: Don't get me wrong, I love his colours. I really do, but I think where the original design has you outdone is with the amount of colours used. The trick to good designs is the re-use and repetition of a small pallet that can still catch attention. In particular, the light blue and pink/purple tones are a cool design idea, but introduces two new colours that may be unnecessary.

Gear: Personally, I get it. having piercings and all that are super cool. But, I think you may have to tweak this on his new design. Gold not only introduces a new colour of contrasting spectrum- but is also a naturally heavy colour. He's got a streamline design, I think you should stick with this. By adding his thick gold earrings and bands, he looks weighed down- especially on his ears, which are long and would be super floppy if realistically wearing those things. It also brings attention to his legs, which I think you may be able to make more spindly, and longer, to help enhance his slim design. The flag across his rump is a cool idea, I love the patterns, but again, I'm imagining it in water acting like a boat moving against the direction of its sail.

honestly half of the time I’m honestly not really excited about
designs with animals/humans that have human/animal forms.
This character immediately changed my outlook! Her overall design
is pretty, I really like how you revamped her. The markings on her
human form are beautiful! Everything goes together so nicely!
I really like her animal form the the feathered, it looks so nice !
Her personality is also cute, her clothes are well-designed.
Overall I really like the characters and how you’ve revamped her!

now as for my character, Pyrid || prounced py-rid
he can control rocks and usually likes to sleep in swamps
or by other rocks. He can “recharge” by sleeping by rocks.
If he uses his rock power he needs to “recharge” his rock
energy by simply sleeping by the rocks.

First up, oh man what a little cutie. I absolutely love the concept, and his design is simple yet pleasant. Pyrid's colours work nicely with each other, I absolutely adore subtle touches of colour on grey designs, and green is one of my favourite colours, so naturally, I'm very fond of that choice here- to me it's actually sort of reminiscent of some type of light green moss. Bias aside, I believe others would find this colour choice appealing too.
As for his rock powers, I'd love to hear more about how they work, but they do sound pretty cool! I can't help but wonder if you have a profile for him set up somewhere? ^^ Either way, the way in which he 'recharges' is very cute.
I don't really have any true critiques, except perhaps if you post him here again, maybe post a drawing that shows a little more detail, since it may help to get a more accurate rating and critique ! Overall though I really like your character!

Here is Ludens, he is a Morgrem, a Pokémon typically known for its mischievousness- Ludens actually prefers to spend time away from others, though that doesn't mean he's impervious to mischief; he'll use fake tears to get things out of people and other 'mons passing by.

9/10! i love messing with pokemon designs, so already i'm super on board for this. morgrem isn't really one of my favourites, but i do like what you did with the design. i really like when people step out of the box on pokemon colours and still manage to make them look very good. i see that you've taken from the shiny version, but the colours aren't exact and i'm fond of the lighter blotches all over the design. i also like that you've messed with the hair a little, and it's kind of fluffier. overall, i think this is pretty nice, and i think the only thing stopping me from giving a full 10 is i would like to see just a little more stepping out of the box on something like this? i love stretching pokemon designs, and i'd love to see you do more!

since you posted a pokemon, i might as well post one too!

this is galia, she's a vaporeon variant of sorts. lives in the deep ocean and the pink bits are bio-luminescent. i don't have much of a plot or anything behind her, i just wanted a deep sea shark-looking vaporeon. all by me.

I really love this design! I am a huge fan of the softer, pastel colors, and the glowing pink bits are a really fun addition to break up the blue, as well as the cute button nose. The bright purple of the eyes make for another really nice contrast, and the ghostly, ribbon-like fins are really pretty and a neat opposite to the more rigid, sharp fins of a normal Vaporeon. I especially like the one that goes down the back of the hind legs. To make my rambling short, I love that this design made everything softer while keeping that Vaporeon look with a deep-sea sharp-toothed twist! Very pretty, Galia!
My only suggestion to add more of the rippling stripes on the back, maybe fade them into the body? ugh I love this ocean lass !!!

let's make this a pokemon page !! this here is Baby, a Slowbro/Escavalier mix.
While fishing with his tail, he hooked up a Shelmet! He can summon Escavalier's lances by using the move Hidden Power. Baby's real lazy and definitely not the brightest, but he's a good friend and is always sure to show his friends how to relax and lounge in the sun the whole day, sleeping all your worries away.

I know next to nothing about Pokémon, so I may miss something, haha. I think this lazy dude is really adorable! The Golden eyes work well. However, I'm not a huge fan of the gray tail. It's a little overpowering and kind of drowns out the rest of the palette, but other than that, I like this baby!

How about Kirjuri? Designed by DragonOfEmber. His name means "scribe" in Finnish and he is a good, intelligent bean <3

6/10! - Very cute, unique design!

Pros:

Pallet: I really like that you've gone with a natural-toned pallet for this lil guy. The use of light pinks is well applied, really helping to make him more realistic. The two brown tones you've gone with mend well with each other.

Structure: I'm happy to see a character that strays away from the typical feline + canid preference with animal OC's. He's well proportioned, and his big ol' ears really help with the cute factor. His large dark eyes draw in the viewers' attention to his face, and the scruffy, short fur gives him personality. He definitely looks like an intelligent, good bean.

Tips/Suggestions:

Accessories: I love the idea of his name being linked to part of a characters' design. Alone, the accessory itself is an interesting idea. However, in this case, there are a couple of parts of this that may be letting this character down- literally. The locket is cool, but looks heavy. Rodents' tails are very durable but do not have good muscular control, and especially for the particular location on his tail, it would be simply dragging across the floor. For a realistic-looking design, the execution of this accessory lets it down.

Design: Overall, I really like the use of colours on his design, so this is mainly me being picky. The use of hollow white diamonds over his coat is an interesting touch, but personally I find them to make his design messy and a little distracting. There's no real order to their placing, which throws me off when the rest of his design seems to be relatively symmetrical. The whites on his face, forehead and underbelly works well, but you could experiment with his coat highlights.
