i mean sure, a lot of people are trying to lowball and get it for underpay, but they can't be this unwanted if there's apparently so much demand for them
This is the point I've been making for months now. They're not the most popular lienart but they're very valuable and people are attracted to pets they think are valuable. Hence the skelebun madness. But no, people insist they're as hard to trade as ever. π€· It's obvious they're getting more popular but some people just don't like to admit it.
i don't think i've had any problems getting 1.5 nons for them lately, sometimes 2 if they were used as gap fillers.
which is still under their actuall worth of course, but a lot better than before. i remember when some people would say they "barely" go for an non.

I've seen people saying they go for a sorb to a non on the ftt of all places and oh boy, while I don't like to think I'm an aggressive person I will absolutely fight anybody who I catch saying it. I will throw hands. How dare they disrespect those precious stripey beans by suggesting a *sorbet*, in the context of being a third to half of a non, is fair. Absolutely not. Especially to people who may not know better.
Edit; it just bugs me that trades which are obviously lowballs or cases where the other player clearly didn't know better are used to justify trades that nobody in that right mind would call fair.
I'm looking at you, person who actually tried to justify a PPS dragon cat trading for a sorbet. I'm all for getting a little overpay for a high demand pet, but there's definitely a line where it becomes downright disrespectful to the other player. A lot of people really don't remember that trading is two sided these days.

I totally agree. I've seen UR tiger auctions with 3 bids, then UR zebra auctions with like 15 bids.
On the other hand, the skelebun seems to be a very popular pet to delete. It's going to just.. stop existing one day..

Who is out here deleting skelebuns? There's people saying 16 nons for one is *unfair to the skelebun* Like mate I just want to talk I totally understand that you have the right to delete your pets, absolutely, but I just can't understand the logic behind it to be honest. If you're moving to FR or something, liquidate it into gems. If you just don't want it, trade it for something you do want.
The only reason I can see for somebody deciding to delete a pet widely considered the "rarest" pet on the site is just not wanting anybody else to have it.

This could also be due to the fact that zebra have "bad demand" so maybe their not great offer would be accepted, where as the tiger has "great demand", so maybe folks just don't think they have a good enough bid, so they don't try.

This is the second time I've seen a post about Skelebuns being deleted. Is this actually happening...?

unfortunately yes. I saw the thread where it happened (didn't interact with it) but someone did indeed delete a skelebun recently-ish? which is a shame. completely irrelevant to me personally as I have no desire to own a skelebun but I do agree with amar that it seems the only reason to do something like that would be to ensure that no one who
does want it can have it.
Did they give a reason for it?

My one problem with demand is that it's based on repetition. Going back to the zebra example, or even grinners, the reason they keep having low demand is not because their design isn't well-liked (I've met a lot more who love them than not) but because people keep enforcing the idea that it does. I've always been able to get 1.5 nons easy for them but everyone's saying they're worth 1 sorb - 1 non recently and so people are trying to trade them off because they're scared of having to deal with it's "demand". It always seems to correct in time though, so oh well.
