Do you think, that is good to posting here also new/recent rares which got rare tag from the beginning? Like event pets? :)
So there is not change but it's rarity which they got as 1st. ^^

we always hope for January sometime. the rarity change that folks have been talking about won't be nearly as big as the overhaul at the beginning of 2019! the one that you've probably been seeing mentioned around is just the annual "update," like a refresh of rarities after the December 18th rereleases and for the accounts that logged in to participate.
