Movies you dislike

Live-action Lion King. I don't "DISLIKE"-dislike it though, and I wanna say that the photorealism is what made it worse, but I look at live-action Lady and the Tramp (which I LOVE, probably the best Live-action remake Disney has made so far) and find that if it were the photorealism, I would have also disliked Lady and the Tramp. I also hated that they turned "Be Prepared" into a lame and uninteresting pseudo-song.


Tl;dr whatever live-action Lady and the Tramp did to be so great is what live-action Lion King should have done. Despite the fact that they're both photorealistic, Lady and the Tramp was better on so many levels.
OG Lion King>OG Lady and the Tramp, HOWEVER live-action Lady and the Tramp>>>>>live-action Lion King.

Honestly all the Live Action Disney remakes look awful to me. They need to stop trying to fix what isn't broken.

about 90% of movie musicals. i love musicals. but i cant stand modern ones, like the new annie, la la land, the greatest showman and CATS. cats is the worst, the musical only has a few good songs anyway imo. i hope the in the heights will break the trend.

and the series of unfortunate events movie. they crammed to much in, i prefer the netflix series 100x more

I love The Greatest Showman and the new Annie. I actually hate the old Annie.

Im surprised no one has said Cats yet. I can watch any horror movie but not Cats. That movie is disturbing

They aren't trying to fix anything. They are taking advantage of the nostalgia of the classic Disney films and remaking them to make a huge profit from nostalgic adults and Disney-loving children. Its actually a pretty genius formula. I agree, Lion King wasn't too great (and they totally butchered Be Prepared), but I quite enjoyed the others. I know I'm falling for their money-making scheme, but as long as it's fun to watch, I don't really care.

I love The Greatest Showman!! The older Annie was way better imo, though. And I'm not a fan of La La Land at all. The ending was terrible. It was a half-decent movie up until that point.

Thankfully, I haven't seen Cats yet.

Frozen part two. Way too fake and a horrible plot.

of course it’s going to be fake, it’s an animated movie about a queen with ice powers. anything is possible in an animation, really. i thought the plot was really good, it was kinda like a story of elsa and ana learning more about their parents and what happened to them when they died, why they went on that ship, etc. it was emotional but also uplifting, but idk i guess that’s my opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️
