i was on hiatus for over a year, what happened that made the skelebun spike in rarity so much?

The reason it spiked in rarity can only be guessed. Inactive players could be one. It was obviously rarer than we knew.
The reason the demand spiked is because it was the first store pet to go OMGSR and no one had ever realized it was so rare. It’s very hard to find someone willing to trade theirs now as well I believe.

I hadn't seen your edit but I read it now! ^^ I don't mind at all adding links for things like that. Should I link to posts I saw on the FTT that have stated those things or should I look for trade links that have that kind of value represented? (because I didn't think to do the latter before compiling the organization on the first post.)

As someone who likes seeing trades and facts I would love to see if there’s actually trades representing those values? If you can find any. Otherwise you could put ‘no trades found at this value’ or something?
Because I’ve found a lot of people can say it’s worth this or going for that, but do the trades actually show that? The skelebun may be said to be at 10 nons but can a trade actually reasonably be found that shows that?

Edit: the problem becomes when someone says x is going for 4 nons, when in reality in only trades for 2 or such. That is something I’ve found to be a problem in the FTT or ‘how much is this worth’ threads. It’s why I’ve relied on recent trades from a few threads that collect those.

what do you think I should do if I find trades that the poster has said are worth a certain number of nons, but the pets exchanged are "bulk" values that most players wouldn't be able to tell at a glance were worth that "non" value? without multiple people confirming an ambiguous value, would they still be helpful trades to link?

With bulk ambiguous trades it’s harder. Bulk trades can highly differ with how people value x y and z. You could still always include them if someone listed they value it at x nons. It’s just super tricky with any demand type thing like this.

And yes, that was the trade thread I was thinking of. I need to bookmark it lol.

The main thing when it comes to demand is that people really need to do their own research, too. Hence linking posts and values and trades is always something I recommend.

I’ll just say that my biggest concern now (and always lol) is that someone says x pet goes for 5 nons, and then that gets circulated even if it’s untrue and is now the norm and then is on this thread without trades actually going for that. Maybe I’m overthinking things rip, but just thought I’d throw that out there.
