What are Sleighbreds?
Holiday Sleighbreds, or just Sleighbreds, are a breed of horse bred to pull sleighs during the holidays. They are bred specifically for their energetic trot, pulling abilities, and larger hooves that are better for trekking through the snow. They are lightly feathered and have a winter fuzz this time of year. They can come in any possible horse color and pattern.
Sleighbreds will be available exclusively through winter and will not be a year-round species. Most sleighbreds will be customs, however, there will also be a few adopts via FCFS or simple contests. Each sleighbred will come with a transparent, harness-less version for reference purposes.

-Any horse design you buy from me is yours to keep and use as you'd like, but credit must be given to me for its original design
-Please do not copy/trace/steal these lines, that's pretty much a given
-Do not sell these horses off-site. You can trade, buy, and sell them with others on CS with CS pets, C$, or other characters, but you may not, for example, take them to deviantArt and sell them for USD or points
-When asking for a custom, real horse photo references are fine. Stealing someone else's character and asking for a custom of it for yourself is not.
- Custom Sleighbreds -
Customs are currently CLOSED
This species was primarily created so I could get missed advent pets. Each custom Sleighbred will cost ONE of those missed pets for horses with none or one pattern (ex., a solid bay or a chestnut tobanio), and an ADDITIONAL pet for every extra pattern or modifier (ex., a black sabino pintaloosa with chestnut chimera will be three pets). If you are confused as to how many pets it will cost, feel free to post your form asking and I can give you the price.

**When filling out the "color" field, please use a base color + modifier terms instead of things like "coyote dun" or "lilac roan." Instead, use "bay + dun" or "liver chestnut + roan," etc. Another example, instead of "blue taffy," use "seal brown + silver." Terms like that are very loosely used and sometimes mean different things to different people, so it is better to use the genetic terms so I know exactly what you mean.
***Harness colors can be a max of three colors. Please list them in this order: leather color, bell color, accent color. The example for the cover horse would be brown (leather), gold (bells), and red (accent).
