i changed the design, and sketched the foal and twin foal lines. rn i'm gonna head to bed, tomorrow i'll try and fix what i have going on. i had some trouble with the some lining and got frustrated, i'm taking a lil break lol

hi! the lines are really cute, however the American Quarter Horse is a bit stockier in the rear and shoulders and is slightly built "downhill" like this one :3



since the competition was specifically for quarter horses/appendix/quarter pony lines ^-^ i thought maybe this ref would be more helpful than the cantering quarter horse, since of course its a different motion <3 the downhill build isnt as important bc of the position but the conformation is a little more important ~

is this better? i gave the legs more volume as with the rear and stomach. if it doesn't portray as the stocky breed you want, i can redo a new sketch that may show it better. i understand if this shows more dressage pony type vibes and not what you're looking for
