really disappointed to see all the free seamallows taken so fast again. i feel like there should be some sort of.... system or something. :( i only own 4 seamallows which is definitely a lot more than some people of course, but i know there are people that own even more than that.
id like to suggest more raffle litters! i think that would definitely help make it more fair for people to get seamallows!
also store seamallows that multiple people can buy (sort of like how the pixel pup store works!)
in addition to all of this, id like to suggest the currency rate being dropped a bit. or uh. upped a bit in a way. depends on how u look at it. what i mean is, i think right now, marshmallows are very very expensive. id really like to see a bit of a change on currency because its very hard for me to get marshmallows as i dont have a lot of super rare pets that im willing to give up (since theyre part of collections, hoards, have sentimental value, etc/i really just dont have a lot of rare pets) so i was wondering if anyone else agreed with me? this is something ive been thinking about for a bit now...

Sorry, I feel the need to say a few things in response to this; also I feel like there are important information for everyone in here.

First of all, I'm sorry you feel this way and thank you for your suggestions!
I appreciate people getting involved and letting me know if things coud be done in a better or different way.


I try to offer as many different ways as possible for people to obtain their Seamallows.

The regular adopts are completely free, you only need to happen to look at the thread at the right time and you can adopt one. I'll also try to release them at different times of the day so people from other timezones have a chance to get one too. Since I introduced special litters for new players a lot more people had the chance to get involved in Seamallows which is already a great success. I want them to be enjoyed by as many people as possible.

Auctions are for people who own a lot of marshmallows and want to adopt a special Seamallow - I'll always try to make Auction Seamallows as unique looking as possible with several lineart edits, since they can get sold for a higher amount of marshmallows.

Raffles are going to be back very soon, there was quite a big interest during the Halloween event. But I also feel like raffle Seamallows should be somewhat special, with at least a small edit to them? Since it's free and a lot of people enter the chance of winning is fairly slim. It's all based on luck and I kind of want to reward people for being lucky enough to win?
Or would it be okay for raffle Seamallows to be just regular lineart color-ins as well? Maybe uncommon and rare ones? I feel like that would work - common Seamallows are for regular adopts and the other rarities for the raffle.

Store Seamallows will be released in irregular intervals - since I want them too to be special (similar to CS store pets). Since people pay marshmallows for them they also should have some form of lineart edit.
I don't want to make Seamallows that can be bought by several people - I definitely want each Seamallow to be unique and special for each person; kind of like buying OCs?
But I might make Seamallows designed ike popular CS pets that are free to use for everyone in their trade rules or signatures (please let me know if there's interest for that and which CS pets should be turned into Seamallows).

And last but not least there is the Gachapon, which gives a chance to win a Seamallow. It is purely based on luck, but even then you can also get an item or win marshmallows - which also brings me to the topic of the currency.
I don't think marshmallows are too expensive (after all it's a ton of work).
Having marshmallows is optional since regular adopts and raffles work without them! And to get more involved all a person needs are 50 marshmallows to play the Gachapon. It's VERY easy to get a lot of marshmallows VERY quickly from the Gachapon. People usually win around 70-120 marshmallows each time they play and it can be played every day. So within a week someone might start with 50 marshmallows and end up with around 200.
I understand not everyone can stop by here every day to play but it definitely encourages people to be active in the thread and rewards people who are.
And to get the 50 marshmallows to be able to play should be fairly easy too. Many people have 50 recent commons (people can give me their rats and horses that are usually hard to trade off, there is no limit to which species I accept) to spare and often times I even have recent commons and uncommons on my wishlist which gives the double amount.


Sorry for the long text but I kind of felt like I needed to explain why I do the things the way I do.
If someone disagrees with me or has other suggestions on how to handle the adoption process better please speak up and let me know!
I'm open to change things, especially if a larger amount of people doesn't like a certain thing.
