might be a dumb question but uhh
say a kal has a rare goop edit
for character purposes, can we say that the goop only comes out with emotions or whatever story element one would desire? or is it a constant thing that is always apart of the character and design and is always present

you can choose yourself how the goop is interwined with your character!

Yes, a breeding cooldown item works for both/all users involved. : )

carnivxre wrote:question,, [ and I apologize if this has been asked / answered,, ] : so when revamping a kalon,, do you need edits for it? Im sorta confused on if thats required or not,,
If you're asking about a MYO revamp, the rules are as follows: MYOs are only allowed to be revamped if they were made for you specifically (you made them for yourself, or someone else made them for you), MYOs that were gifted/traded to you cannot be revamped. They must not have been bred, but it's okay if art exists of them. You must get Jiinxed!'s express permission before revamping a MYO, and they must also approve it afterwards when the revamp is complete. Revamps can change the Kalon's entire design, color, and style of edits, but cannot add or remove edits.
So, for example, when revamping a MYO, if they had an ear edit, you would be allowed to change the style of that edit, but not allowed to revert it to the default Kalon ears (therefore removing the edit). You would also not be allowed to add, say, a fur edit, if they did not have one previously. You would need to buy/obtain a fur edit and apply it to them.
SonOfStarGod wrote:question I see you can get artists to do myos, how?
You're welcome to ask a staff member if they're open for MYO commissions, but as creating MYOs for community members is not apart of staff's obligations, it's their choice to decide if they accept it and for what price. But also remember that anyone can make a MYO, they don't have to be staff! (Although it will have to be approved by a staff member).

We are making it an official rule that Kalon lines are not allowed to be redrawn entirely [without the proper edits] when making MYOs and doing growths. This means you must use the Kalon base provided, and may not trace the lines to redraw the base. If you wish to use an enlarged version of the lines, there is already one provided and pinned in the Kalon Discord server! If you’d like to join, please send me (or another staff member) a PM on CS!
We have long since stopped allowing custom lined Kalons because of the difficulty it makes in identifying edits. This new rule is for the same reason. Tracing the Kalon base will never result in 100% identical lines, and any deviation in the lines may give the appearance of an edit the Kalon does not have. This makes approvals difficult for our staff members, and tedious for users to have to be asked to fix line issues over and over.
You may still redraw legs/paws when your Kalon has the correct corresponding edits [ie reverse munchkin, bigger paws, etc].
Thank you!
