View topic - Apple picking

Needed to give my most recent OC, Sofia a little more art love, so thought i would draw her gone out picking apples on a chilly autumn morning when she comes across the biggest and juiciest looking apple she has ever seen that is just out of reach. Hmm...how to get it?

I didnt quite nail down the perspective that i was going for but regardless i'm still pretty satisfied with this.

Well I think you did a great job with the perspective! I have a lot of troubles with it myself haha.
That apple looks so tasty...

Man, I want that apple it looks so good xD Usually when I try to do a perspective like that, the main focus (usually the head) isn't blurred, and then I gradually blur the farther back I go to show how it's farther away. Also all your apples and leaves on the ground appear to be the same distance away. But idk, I'm not the best at crazy perspective poses. I really like this one, though! It looks awesome <3 I love her jacket and its shading owo

Ahh now that i look at it i definitely can see what you mean with that. c: You definitely got the "crazy perspective part right", definitely was something out of my comfort zone hah! xD Just tried my best to go back and apply that and i think it did the trick! Thanks so much! <3

This looks fantastic! The perspective looks amazing - I really like the way you made it look focused on the head and the apple. I love all the effort you put into every little thing. And the leaves falling in the front are such a cute little detail! Also the shading looks gorgeous :O
