Orb Cats (“Orbies”) are a magical breed of creature, which have in time expanded far beyond being simply mere cats. The name “Orb Cats” has stuck as a means of familiarity, but you might come across other species of rarer orb species, such as orb dogs, orb squirrels, and a means of other creatures, including that of kangeroo's and owls. Most Orbies you will see are indeed cats though, and they come in a variety of shapes and sizes!
All orb cats are unique in one way or another, they can have essentially anything: whether it be tentacles, wings, lots of fluff, or many, many eyes. The only requirement is that they have orbs somewhere on their body! Unlike most species, there is no rarity chart for traits, but some specific linearts can be considered special or event type. These are usually only distributed during events, and these special linearts will hibernate until the next event, or maybe even retire for good after an event!
Orb Cats most commonly be obtained through litters, which can be found below. They can also be obtained as customs or semi-customs made by our artists, and Orb Cats can be bred through our nusery system too. Orb Creatures other than cats, however, may not be bred or be given as customs, but during events you might be able to win an ultra-rare semi-custom orb creature ticket! Sometimes on the fanclub page, there will be single FCFS kitties given out too!

Orb cats were originally founded and created by a user of the name Quillington, who has long since moved on from the species. We still thank them for founding such a wonderful community of people though! Orb Cats is currently owned by Sanster, but while they are away, us mods and artists will be running Orbies for now until Sans comes back!
