Origin
Rooted deep within the Amazon rainforest, there lived an old Guild of cats, called the Bromeliad. This guild had been around for many many decades, and was one of the strongest. That is, until war struck. Many of the younger cats started to become unhappy with how the Bromeliad was governed, and so they rebelled. Brother turned against brother, sister against sister, it was utter chaos. The loyal Bromeliads thought that they would lose their guild forever. They gathered together, with some of the other, younger, rebellion leaders, and talked. Neither groups agreed to back down, so they came to a compromise. Anyone who was unhappy in the Bromeliad, could leave. Several of the younger cats went with friends to start their own guilds, or struck out on their own, to face the dangers of the jungle.
One of the ones who left alone, was Sundew. SHe walked on for miles, looking for a suitable place to start a guild. There. A huge tree, with many low hanging branches and hollows, stood in the center of a clearing. It was perfect. There was a fresh spring bubbling from the earth, that fed into a pool with many small fish inside. There were bioluminescent mushrooms and moss inside of the hollows, and under branches. She was truly lucky to have found this place.
