Ekho's favorite hobby is researching stuff! Just generally being knowledgeable in many fields is his biggest goal, I'll give a few examples of stuff he's active in persuing:
Herbalism, researching and growing his own plants as medicinal substitutes! He uses them to help others and animals, and spends alot of his time in the greenhouse he has. He finds joy in helping over people, and keeping care of plants is a peaceful passtime.
He also likes to research mythology, of many kinds, his favorite things are cryptids and folklores, but also Japanese and Greek/Latin mythology are some of his top faves to read up on.
He's also learned to be knowledgable in medical fields, of course herbalisim can only do so much, but although he's knowledgable in medical practices, he would only choose to do any of what he learned in emergencies, (CPR, Tracheotomies, things like that.)
He has also now picked up law, although hes brand new to the subject so hes not too knowledgable in it yet, he's eager to get started and to learn more.
He is also actively learning multiple languages, which he often uses on people of native tongue to learn better and correctly, it often surprises people and brings a little smile to their faces that just make him happy to see!

Rose was always a shy and quiet type. He wasn't always like this; he just grew to it. Between long-time crush rejections and unbearable awkward conversations, he just chose to stay away from other people. Not that he didn't like them, he just didn't fit, and that was okay. He had a family at home waiting for him. Cute little plants covered the walls, ceiling, balcony, and any reachable window. His home was very neat and taken care of, but livid with green friends. Rose had both real and plastic plants filling him home. He loved them all. He would talk to them all day long, dancing around his house watering them, as they reached out for him in a slow climb up his walls and through his floors.
Not only would he walk through stores trying to find a new friend, but he would also study and research them. The only true human interaction he had every week was the librarian when he checked out books, and his local gardener when she would ask him how to plant a certain type of bush or tree. He'd spend all night reading up on the different green and non-green plants that existed, where they lived, and how they lived. He just found them so fascinating!

Harper is actually an published writer! Most of their days are spent tucked away, clicking away writing their next story, but always put aside a small portion of the day to take a break from writing one of their more public pieces to just... write for themself.
She mainly writes short stories for herself, silly things with her characters about their lives before or around the story, posting it online as an anonymous 'fan' of the books.
They love reading and writing about them without worry that the lack of effort usually spilled into their own writing will be judged by readers. They love reading the thoughts on what they've written, even the criticism that they aren't 'in-character' (which they always have a good laugh at). They love reading the theories and stories other's write with their characters (and they do like to slip in hints that those stories could be true, much to the delight of the writers)
She loves the very act of watching others be excited about what she's made, and loves to be excited with them.
