Biodragons are a species of pseudo-dragons found in many local ecosystems and communities. They're known for their generally gentle and playful nature- they will very rarely attack somone or something on their own accord. Each represents a plant, or more commonly a flower. As such, their patterns, and more importantly, their head petals, mimic said plant. Leaves usually sprout along the biodragons' back. Those leaves are capable of mild photosynthesis, but are generally only used as a last resort. Breeding is possible by simply a nuzzle of their short muzzle- cross-pollination allows two (or, sometimes three) biodragons to lay a clutch of 1-4 eggs. Any gender of plant can do so, but males have generally less fertility. The eggs are large and seed-shaped, entwined with a small sprout of the new hatchling's plant. Once hatched, a biodragon does not yet have head petals. Instead, a small bud is usually in its place. As they grow older, the bud will spread open. A biodragon reaches maturity once they reach a full bloom.

Staff members like myself draw up adopts and post them usually with a small competition/tryout. I don't have any up right now, but keep your eye out for some!
