What the heck is a ‘Border Gecko’?

Border Geckos are a mutated hybrid between the very popular dog breed, Border Collies, and the most adorable (IMO) reptile, Leopard Geckos. This hybrid was created in a biology lab underground in Canada for the purpose of simple experimentation and boredom. Interestingly enough, the two genetic codes ‘got along’, forming the Border Gecko, the symbiotic relationship between reptile and mammal.

As for gender, they don’t have to be male or female, they can be any gender.
They must all be REAL Leopard Gecko morphs and Border Collie colors. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Rules

Border Geckos are an SEMI-OPEN species. You are allowed to make your own border collie leopard gecko hybrid, and you are allowed to call it a Border Gecko, and there are no rules around selling them or breeding them. Honestly this is just a place where you can adopt some fun characters if you want to have one. I’m calling them semi-open because you have to credit the player who made the adopt for the design of the character, unless it’s a custom, and because I CAN take them away if you are banned and do as I please with them after that (send to pound).

Mini modding is okay TO SOME EXTENT, as long as you are respectful and understand that our mods have a job to do, and that you can’t just do it for them.

Please don’t spam random unrelated things. It’s just plain annoying.

Be respectful of everyone, and don’t be rude!

If you are breaking the three rules listed above, you will get a strike.

The first strike, you are limited to what kinds of adopts you can participate in, so you couldn’t participate in special ones.

Second strike, you can’t participate in the adoptions but you can keep any and all characters that you have previously adopted.

Third strike is a ban, and you are not allowed to post on the main thread (unless it’s an apology; or like a request to join back in), you aren’t allowed to participate in Adopts, and characters that you adopted from here will be sent to the pound or myself. If you are found to be selling/keeping/breeding the characters that are no longer yours, I’ll deal with it.

BREEDING

Breed two of your border geckos, or yours with another player! They must be physically compatible (male x female, demiboy x female, trans male x male, etc) just post below to claim a breeding! If it’s yours and another players, I’ll need permission in the form of both parties submitting the form individually and they will be counted together. You may keep any and all pups born, and if it’s a two party breeding, then you’ll have to work it out between yourselves.
