The café is a charming and atmospheric environment. Here they serve delicious meals, desserts and drinks. Many very interesting characters are seated around the room, chatting and eating. The truth is, they’re here because they have nowhere else to go… maybe you’d consider opening your home to a few?

Hi, my name is Auvember and I really like drawing and designing characters. I used to draw for hours a day when I was younger but more recently I fell out of the habit. It’s time to change that, so I’m opening this Café as an incentive for myself to draw more.

Hopefully everyone who visits has fun too. I would like it to be a laidback place to adopt fun characters and hang out ^^

What you need to know about the adoptables! They will mostly be:
1. Extremely varied! There isn’t a set theme or species for this thread, so there might be some unorthodox adopts here
2. Traditionally drawn. They will be posted on deviantArt and linked here~
3. Human/humanoid. There will occasionally be non-human adopts as well…
4. PWYW. I still want to receive something but I won’t be asking a lot

In addition… I don’t know what I’m doing here ^^ If anything on the thread is confusing, unfair or off-putting, please let me know so I can improve. Thanks so much!

Macaron Exchange

Every adoptable set I post will have a Macaron value, which will tell you about how much I value the character designs.

Below is a Macaron Exchange Rate so you can see how much I value any trade you might send. Apologies for any changes made! I'm still figuring this out.

Most of the characters will be Pay What You Want (PWYW), but not First Come First Served (FCFS). So in the end I’ll accept the offer with the highest Macaron value. Hopefully that makes adopting simple!

1 C$ = 10 Macarons

Pet Rarities:
1 OMG so common = 1 Macaron
1 very common = 2 Macarons
1 common/unknown rarity = 5 Macarons
1 uncommon = 20 Macarons
1 rare = 80 Macarons
1 very rare = 200 Macarons
1 OMG so rare = 1000 Macarons

Any 10 Items = 10 Macarons

EDIT 10/26/19: Starting today, any trade to pre-buy Macarons will only be accepted if all pets/item in the trade are on my WL. They will be the same value, but I hope this will encourage smaller trades (not that I don't like bulk trades, but its feels a little excessive for my adopts XD). Trading directly for an adopt will not have this restriction. Thanks for understanding!

Every week on Saturday, at least one new adoptable will join the café. The newest set will stay on this post for a week, open to offers – at the end of the week, I’ll accept the best offers, and move any unbought adopts to the next post.

I’m going to value these, but you may offer whatever you want – the best offer will get the adoptable even if it’s lower than the value I set! I do reserve the right to decline any offer I really don’t like, but I’m not expecting that to happen.

When you adopt one of these eggs, I will use the info in your form to design a character – the adoptable will not necessarily look like the egg, but will be related to the egg’s theme.

NEW 10/26/19:

For this Halloween, these eggs will be available for current event pets! You can still adopt with the pets pictured below, but you may also adopt an egg with one of these payments:

1. 10 current event tokens
2. 3 current event and wishlist pets (currently 7 unique pets on my WL)
3. 5 current event and wishlist items (currently 24 unique items on my WL)

No duplicates will be accepted (except for tokens) and it is FCFS. Enjoy!!

Egg 47 is a Raffle egg! Each Halloween event pet or item you trade in for Macarons will also award you one raffle ticket. Once all the other eggs are adopted, the raffle will be over and a winner will be selected

Outside the front door, just on the edge of the sidewalk, sits a big carboard box with a message scrawled in sharpie on the top:

You look inside and are surprised to find a large clutch of shiny dragon eggs! You could take some, but you should probably know a thing or two about dragons before you do...

I just wanted to doodle some dragon type stuff, which is why the pic is so sketchy ^^ These eggs are PWYW, of a sort - each one costs 1 Dragon Chicken Smoothie pet. It can be eastern, western, malk or tess, just needs to be a dragon. Any rarity as well. If you send me an UC or higher I'll put some effort into it, otherwise they will be just for fun ^^

Mystery Portals

On the back wall of the café, hidden away from the lobby, 7 picture frames hang. But instead of paintings or photos, the frames contain what appear to be… swirling magical portals?

You are told these portals each can be opened by a certain pet or item. After they’ve opened up, you can put all manner of things inside, and after a while a character will come out who looks like the ingredients you added!

The key pets change every time they’re opened though, so act quickly if you want to use one of these portals ^^



These customs are a way for me to complete my wishlist – each one will need a certain pet of a different rarity. Once I get that pet, a new one will be required – only one of each pet will be accepted!

I won't accept the trade until you see your finished character - if you choose not to accept it, I'll adopt it out as regular set

Please let me know if any of these pets/items are worth way more than what I'm offering, I'm not trying to gip anybody ^^; I just don't know my values that well.

Once you’ve adopted three characters from me, you are considered a “Regular”. I will occasionally put special adopts only available to Regulars here.

Whether you are a regular or not, you can earn Café Credit! This is a special reward currency you can trade in here for different rewards.

I would love it if you posted with a suggestion, request or tip on future adoptables! I’ll put priority on themes that are asked for. This post contains accumulated suggestions, which I will be looking to for inspiration. Also, if you really liked a type of adoptable I’ve made, let me know and I’ll do more like it.
