I have a question about the edits of this kalon. - they're a myo i made in 2016, used an unlimited uncommon & under myo.

When posting the kalon i listed all the fur edits under common, however some of the edits are actually shorter than the default fur, so it should have also had 'short fur edits' listed under uncommon. I was extremely new to kalons when i designed this kalon and never listed the shorter fur as uncommon. Is this an issue if i were to want to breed them for example? ^^

You are welcome to message me if you haven't already contacted another staff member─everyone can always reach out to any staff member regardless of your question, and if they are not able to provide you with the answer they'll direct you to someone who can.

However, we do have the Kalon Trait Guidelines document that goes into detail about the rules/limits for each and every trait, so we encourage you to check this out first as it is very likley you'll find the answer to your questions there!

Karmel and Jiinxed! would generally be the best people to reach out to concerning questions about new legendary traits that have not been publicly approved/disapproved/discussed.

To adopt a Kalon simply click on one of the adoptables on the front page and see if the competition is open. In the main post there will be details about the contest and how to win. Each contest is different and each artist will judge based on different things, which will usually be detailed in the contest guidelines. Most contests involve filling out a form and with the form with the best idea, art, or writing is picked as the winner. It all depends on the specific adopt! If you're unsure of what to do with your forms, you can take a look at some finished competitions and see what the winning forms look like to get ideas.

Runner Ups (RUs) are sometimes awarded, as well as Honorable Mentions (HMs) which can be collected and redeemed for [MYOs]. In the main post of this thread, under the header image, there is a directory of links to the various Kalon threads such as the Fanclub, Nursery, and Customs thread. I suggest taking a look at the Fanclub to see what everyone is up to! I hope you find something you like and I wish you luck in winning an adopt. The gray Kalon that you see on the front page is an example of an unedited Kalon. However, the majority of our adoptables are edited in one way or another─they might have a curly tail, or long hair, or short fur. Those are examples of edits, each of which has their own individual rarity! If a Kalon as a custom tail, for example, you'll see that edit is listed underneath "common" on the Rarity Chart, therefore it is a common edit. I hope that makes sense!

This is a common occurrence in older Kalons, so not to worry. In situations like these, we ask that you please message a staff member with your concern, so that they may confirm the correct edit. ^^

That would be acceptable as long as you have adequate proof. ^^ (To do so you'd fill out the gifting form on our Kalon Archive Update Thread and put the appropriate usernames under the gifter/receiver questions, and include the proof).
