If you’re wanting a blanket Appaloosa, the grulla would have to be the base coat as the base of the blanket would be grey with the grulla spots on top. Grey could be the base coat if you wanted a leopard Appaloosa. So, if you still want a blanket, then grulla would be the base coat and the marking would just be blanket Appaloosa (white with the grulla on top), if that’s alright? That made more sense in my head xD
