Eleanor blushed as Peter grabbed her hand. It felt almost like it belonged there. She continued walking with their hands linked.

Peter was still finding it hard to breath but he smiled and forgot about it, making it look like he was completely fine. "So... got any dinner plans?" he asked.

Eleanor turned her head to look at Peter "I can make something while you relax, what would you like?" she spoke softly.

Peter smiled at Eleanor and he met her eyes. "Why don't you choose?" He suggested.

Eleanor tried to think of what was in her kitchen "We could have some pasta?" she suggested. Eleanor realized they were at her apartment building "Let's head in"

Peter nodded and he smiled at the door to Eleanor's apartment. "You live... alone?" He asked, slightly cautious as he didn't want to offend her. "And pasta sounds great" he added.

Eleanor nodded "My mom died giving birth and my dad can't stand me." she unlocked the door and headed inside. She threw her suit onto her bed in the other room while flipping on the lights. "Welcome to my lair." she joked

Peter felt his face pale slightly when Eleanor told him part of her backstory. "I'm... So sorry about your parents" he told her, his voice gentle. He followed Eleanor into her apartment and he looked around with a slightly smile. "You've done well" he told her decidedly.

Eleanor smiled and nodded "Yeah, my dad has the decency to pay for this, anyways I'll start cooking food you can relax." she walked over to the kitchen "The tv remote should be on the couch somewhere."

Peter nodded but he didn't go and sit down on the couch. But instead, he followed Eleanor into the kitchen, his lips parted slightly. "I don't... am not walking away right now" he told her, his voice a rather whisper.
