I ran as fast as I could. Reaching out for my 3 pups as they bolted away from the rising water. The water swept me and one of my pups into the house. Now it was dangerous for both of us. We got trapped with no way out... in the water. We drowned and died. My last thought was "Yup, this is the last moment thinking of Shade, his siblings, and my mate."


The real question was:

"If they kept running, they wouldn't have gotten trapped. Why didn't they flee for their life?"


The remaining pups swam toward shore. Followed by a father that didn't walk, but limp. The flood made Shade's black color grey. And blood was the only fluid in the house now.

Short story (what happened when escaping flood): I awoke. My paws soaked with water as my father tried to usher to a nearby shore. My ears perked up as I looked around and noticed that mother and one of my siblings was gone. When I went to turn to ask my father I saw he was already starting to walk away, while limping, at the heels of my other siblings. I ran to catch up but couldn't find the question I had been wanting to ask just moments ago. I think I knew. I looked back at the house that was now flooded and a tear dropped out of my eye. I ran ahead of my siblings wanting to get as far away from the house as possible. Once on the safety of the nearby shore I collapsed. Little whimpers could be heard coming from me and my siblings as we sat, I laid down, mourning the deaths of today. I peeked one look at my father who looked horrible but knew he had to take care of us now. I put my head back down before crying myself to sleep.
Why do you want him/her?: I love puppies and would use her for any new RP that I joined. Plus I just started looking at adopting pups from these drawings and I find them cool.
