How do they feel about their family?

For Adonis, family has always been a complicated subject. He loves his family very much and doesn't like to admit it, but they are bad for him. His mom, dad, and two little sisters are always there for him and he has many good memories with them. He has always loved talking to them on occasion and hearing about their lives. He especially loves his sisters. They were always fun-loving and caring. They cheered him up whenever he was down. They had similar interests to him, so they would hang out with each other often. And they helped him overcome his fear and come out as bisexual. But eventually, even his "forever young" sisters grew up and started drifting away with their own school friends. In the end, he and his family started to become distant.

But this was only one reason that he moved far from his family as soon as he could. He does love them, but he needed to get away. His family is intense. They have very different ideas about everything from what makes an acceptable supper to political policies. He was brought up in a way that if he ever spoke up about his conflicting views, he would be immediately shot down and ridiculed for having different beliefs. They wouldn't even consider his views or provide evidence, they would just state their opinions as if they were fact.

He loves his family, but he needed room to breathe on his own. So as soon as he finished school, he found a job in another town and now happily lives on his own.
