What do you have to do to move a kalon off-species ? I know that's a form to fill, and need owner and artist permission. But do you have to get rid of the shine and/or other traits that make a kalon a kalon ?

On the breeding page an artist will post that they have an open slot, usually fcfs or a raffle lasting about 20 minutes and that’s when you post your form with that said artist on it
Not sure how personal batches work cause it’s not allowed to ask for a breeding I guess artists just do it for close friends/themselves

I'd think that you would need to do so, yes.

You'd need to put the name of the artist that posted saying they have slots open on the nursery page.
You are not allowed to ask artists personally to do a breeding for you via PMs/etc.
I'd suggest you read over the nursery page, as it explains how to post a ticket/answers some of the questions you asked. ^^
Personal breedings are breedings done for members of staff by artists after a certain amount of activity is done for Kalons (nursery batches, main page Kalons, etc.)
