Damien, even though he seems very scary, is a very sweet, caring Kalon! He's usually seen in the forest, in his little cabin with animals. He loves helping others, and if he's not spending time with the forest creatures, he can be found visiting Children's hospital to read to them, or teach them origami. He's also been the kid's "Santa Klaus", with them eagerly await a small, handmade gift from him.
He also has a small crafts shop, which donates 75% of proceeds to charity. Apart from being very kind-hearted, he's also quite clumsy! He's lost count of how many times he's tripped over his own tail, or knocked things over with it.
Damien also loves baking! Granted, he isn't the best at it. But after a load of determination and almost burning the kitchen 3 times, his baking is mostly edible!

Reignar.... was once the best king his kingdom had ever had. Not one to rule with an iron fist, but instead a compassionate, reasonable heart and mind. He didn't just hear the words and wishes of those less fortunate than himself, but listened. Everything was just as it should be, before.... the incident.

It wasn't a day unlike most others. The sun was out, the town was buzzing with activity, and Reignar was making his rounds to the common folk who helped keep his humble little kingdom in check. But something horrible had happened at the castle. Something he wouldn't soon forget. Coming back to find none other than his beloved splayed out on the floor, all it took was one look around for him to find the source. She had fallen from the highest point of their gently curved staircase, and at it's peak, his youngest stood. Immediately it clicked in his mind that his son was the cause of this. Unwilling to listen to reason, through the mouth of his son or his beloved wife, he swept her away to get the proper attention for any injuries sustained, never to return to that castle except to gather his items and leave in the night without a word.

He became an illusive gypsy after that, hopping from one town to another; leaving as little of a trace as possible while he also left his family and loved ones to question where he went, and what would happen now.

Born to a reclusive race that lives in a forest on the side of a mountain, Trygve has admittedly had very little experience with the etiquette of the outside world. His kind hardly ventures beyond their woods, and therefore have little use for that knowledge. But when Trygve's brother went missing, Trygve departed his home to search for him among the surrounding civilizations, out of fear he had been kidnapped.

As he searches, Trygve does his best to blend in to avoid detection, but his resting expression can be a little intense, and he is ultimately a very bad actor. He has not been caught yet, though his attempts of seeming like an everyday member of society are great at earning him funny looks.

For instance, he has picked up on the fact that those in this outside world tend to show their emotions much more readily than the members of his race. In his attempt to emulate this, it became characteristic for him to have strong emotional reactions to very silly things. If he experiences something mildly annoying, he will rant about it for hours, until whoever is with him has forgotten the reason for his ranting in the first place.

However, he has also picked up on some good habits, the foremost being politeness. Observing how others treat each other really shapes how he treats others. He has even mistakenly done things for his friends that would typically be reserved for couples, like buying them flowers or chocolate.

An outcast. It's colourful eyes gleam, cutting the darkness. Ears prick. Something is near. The long, strong body stalks through the dark eerie woods, waiting. Searching. Something moves nearby.

A trapped dove.

It moves. Closer and closer to the weak bird. Closer still. It lets out a low hum. The bird moves. The great beast grabs the bird. The small creature lets out a shriek. Until. It realizes..

Irene was lonely.
She said she wasn't.
but she was.

she wanted to be social, she really did, but hey lifestyle itself didn't really allow it, at the best of times.
She lived rather far into the woods, in a gothic yet gorgeous manor left to her by her late sister, an hours bike ride to the nearest town and nearly 2 and a half to the nearest city, and therefore she had little outside contact with actual, real-life, non-fictional people.

after several years of living like this, lonely and secluded in a vast estate she could never possibly make complete use of, she decided to stop moping around like some kind of shadowy vampire, and actually make a difference.

one particularly cold day, she rode to the city. She strolled the streets, handing out flyers to anyone she found who just sorta looked like they needed some actual human kindness, for once.

from then on, she was no longer Irene, the lonely mansion baron, she was Irene, the positively-not-lonely shelter owner.Her house buzzed with activity every day, the walls alive with laughter and compassion.

Moving like a shadow in the darkness, Stígandr passed through the forest, walking endlessly through the dim fog with only a small lantern for light. It had been years, decades, centuries. They all passed one by one, blurring into another. For as long as he could remember, Stígandr had wandered through the forest without destination or purpose. He couldn’t quite remember where he came from, or who he had been, and as long as he could remember, he had been alone. He could only scarcely recall vague, indistinct memories from his past life, which slipped away from him whenever he tried to focus on them and which seemed more like visions at times. He was not even sure they were real.

Stígandr was told that he was created for this. Given one task—to guard the forest, and to keep the lanterns lit. Forever. Though his irises were rainbow, he perceived the world in black and white, excepting only the lantern flames. Everything else was devoid of color. He was born to see only one thing, they had told him. Anything else would be a distraction.

So he continued to wander the forest. Sometimes stumbling upon a settlement, but nearly always skirting around them. Even if Stígandr entered, no one acknowledged him, and he didn’t stay for very long. It wasn’t as if he could speak to them anyway.

An amnesiac forest guardian cursed to wander through the darkness forever, lighting the path for travelers.

250 Word Description: When you step into any sort of social gathering, Pavaka is the first to be seen slinking around in the corners and background. It’s not that he’s a natural loner, or even that he’s shy- it’s just a whole lot more stressful when you’re in the middle of the room. Despite his potential spooky appearance Pavaka is actually pretty friendly but prefers his personal space. He hates peer pressure and will sometimes take sides on issues that he is actually neutral on just to counter the overwhelming argument of the more popular side. It both preserves his originality and can make some pretty entertaining situations, though he will never do this to a side someone takes to heart.
